Wow I'm amazed at the reviews. Either I came on a bad day for the restaurant or y'all don't know good Mexican food and service. Our food was a 3 tops. Not good. I will never go back there. I will go to a lunch truck or get a sandwich. Waitress was nice, nicer when we were leaving. She didn't check on us, my cup went dry. She was trying to rush us when we were ordering and her tone during was just demeaning. I don't recommend this spot. Such a disappointment to Mexican food.
The food was delicious and so were the homemade flour tortillas. I was a little disappointed that there was no more menudo, and it was only about 1:00 in the afternoon. The staff was very nice and accommodating the only complaint was, the bathrooms were not well lit, very dark. I didn't spend any money. My Granddaughter and her husband took my daughter, (her mother) and I for a late Mother's day lunch, but we had dinner. I used to go there with my mother many year's ago. It was her favorite place to go.
Authentic tasting Mexican food for sure... Old school 1/4" flour tortillas made w/ lard... ordered Nopales con huevos bathed in a delicious salsa roja - it would have been fabulous but was over salted... Parking situation was also rough... Servers were super nice, they kept coffee topped off... Ambiance was chill... Probably would have offered 4 stars if it weren't for the salt/parking.
Food and service were awesome! The prices are very reasonable and the portions are huge.. If you have a large appetite I guarantee you will leave Is satisfied. Would go there again next time I'm passing through Stockton
Me and my wife heard so much about this place so we decided to try it out for lunch first time here last time here waitress come over and ask would you like a menu I said yes would be great so we ordered beef burrito and a crunchy taco ration beans taco was soggy and head cabbage and was sour tasting I asked is the beef burrito has gravy and cheese on top she told me yes it never did we had to ask for gravy and cheese on the side food was very bland no taste only thing that was good for was the homemade tortillas otherwise and that would not recommend this restaurant anybody
Grew up eating here ..once a week with my family and my grandparents. Family owned. Great food, great service, great price !

My Hubby n his Male friends came to eat their favorite dish, Huevos Ranchero. They missed this place.First time in 19 months during Covid.They enjoyed it ... Very filling n he didn't eat dinnerAuthentic Mexican food.He's been coming here during his Single yrs ... 49 yrs !!Talking about Loyalty ?
Very friendly staff with really good food. Every time I come to this area I stop bye and grab something to eat. I will be back.
Food was amazing !!!! However the staffing was trash and was bad enough to even write this review. All the woman just standing around laughing and chatting and not paying any attention to the customers lined up and waiting at the front counter. Not to mention that the prices have gone up.
