Never had an issue

The owner of the store was watching me as I walked in like I was robbing them and then when I went to pay he didn't give me my exact change. I asked him about it he called me a penny saver haha some people always trying to get over on you.

I recently visited Stockton visiting family and friends after being away for 10 years a must have is Arroyos restaurant. I have been a loyal customer since the 70's and have followed them when they relocated. Yes the food is that good, the homemade tortillas fresh salsa available in medium and hot. This food is made with love of three generations. I recommend the combination plate with the beef taco, chili relleno and beef enchilada, the gravy is good enough to jump through a plate glass window without breaking it. Over the years I have tried every dish at least twice and have come to this choice. If your in a rush try the beef, bean and cheese burrito filling and fast made with love.I have been to thousands of restaurants all over the world tried cuisine in Mexico and Arroyos is 5 star in satisfaction and taste bud joy

This is my favorite place to eat Mexican food out of all of our travels. Every time we visit Stockton I have to eat at least once here. This is a family-operated restaurant, food comes to the table quickly, friendly staff. They have tables with a nice view of the lake, there is a bar area. The food is awesome at nice prices. I love the special quesadilla plate, the carne asada is great as are the chile verde and house made tortillas.

Great place to take the family, very nice dining with a view of the water. The food is always good. we will be back

I ordered a fried taco shell with sautéed vegetables no meat I bit into it and whatever it was fried with/ in I got a mouthful of that, the shell was so greasy as if left overnight in grease. I told one of the waitress she replaced it with something else, but we didn’t get checked on, or any refills on our drinks.. Not even looked at. Ruined our New Years Eve!

Nice hang, lively but not too terribly loud. Enjoyed live music! Range of dinner sizes, do you can hit your appetite right. Loved the shrimp poppers as appetizer. Good margarita!

This is a restaurant that has been serving authentic mexican food to Stocktonians since the 1940s. Rice and beans are still basic and their tortillas are hot and tender. I like the chiles relleno and their combination plates will satisfy the heartier appetite. It may be that the spice level has been turned back a notch to appeal to the yankee taste buds. Good food, good prices and good times.

I can’t beleive people say this place is good. It has to be the worst Mexican food I’ve ever had. Sucks cause the location is cool the people are nice and it’s clean. But the food is so gross like super gross.

This store is not only filthy and poorly stocked but much of their wines are spoiled. With the rude, aggressive pig behind the register you really can’t find a worse liquore store in Stockton and that is saying something. Save yourself a dirty waste of time and go to Pershing Liquore.
