The BEST!! Same spot from Oakland
The fish was partially raw in one order; and the other order was over fried. The catfish had sugar on it (must have mistaken the sugar for salt); and the so called perch was fried hard and taste like rock fish and dry and hard to chew. Didn't taste like catfish or perch. This was a total waste of $28.00 today. Will not be going back. Need to hire some qualified fish fryers.
Good flavor, go for the seafood jambalaya if you crave seafood. A little wait, reasonable price
Paid $17.99 for the jumbo shrimp got 5 shrimp and 3 slices of nasty bread lol not even like garlic bread or something just like the cheapest wheat bread you can buy. And the fries were so skimpy as well. Like put some more fries instead of bread?
We have been driving all the way to Sacramento to the Fruitridge location. That location is not in the best area, but we like the food. We will NOT be going that far anymore! I'm elated that JJs has relocated their Stockton eatery! It's in a safe area, it's new, clean and the food is amazing!!!!! I love the catfish, and their hot sauce is the bomb! Service is good as well! Go get you some!

I ordered some fried oysters while I waited for my red snapper, chicken and sides the oysters were ? so good ?? the staff was very friendly made sure I had all the sauce and lemon the mac and cheese was good and also the spaghetti was tasty as well.
Best customer service. Food is great prices are right. Clean positive atmosphere. This number one for me and my family definitely recommend…Fast service too. Not one complain on our behalf.?
The food got the job done for my family on Christmas eve. The fish and chips was awesome. The chicken and chicken nuggets were a bit dry but we had some bomb bbq sauce at home that handled that. The lobster was good enough, not really flavorful but it was a pretty nice size. What impressed me the absolute most was the customer service. Them dudes were legit! Super respectful and professional. They were also nice. I wished I had cash to directly tip bro at the cash register. He followed me outside, while I was driving away, to bring me the red beans and rice that I'd forgot on the counter. Superb service!??
Worth the price and the wait. Very courteous service. There was a movie that played while you wait. We waited 10 minutes from order to completion so you may want to phone order so its ready. Generous portions and totally worth it. Definitely will go back again
