This was our go to place for dinner during our first few days on the island. They have great prepared meals, gelato, ABC store and really everything you could need. It gets very busy after 6pm when everyone is grabbing food for the night.
Great place, super convenient located at the Queens Marketplace . Stayed at the Hilton which is about 10min walk. The hotel offers a shuttle for $3pp to take you there but the walk is very nice. You can buy lots of things there from dinner, snacks, alcohol to clothing, souvenirs, etc.
The food and gifts at this strange supermarket/deli are good enough but the prices are outrageous and the service is horrible and disorganized. That is probably becaust heere is no other place on the resort. The place is jammed and people get frustrated fast. If you have a car, take advantage and drive the 5 miles to a different store.
Watch how they charge. Combo was supposed to be 11.50 but they up charge for "specials" but won't tell you what that there's an upcharge. Also unsure how something they have on menu everyday(sinigang) is consider special. I've been coming here for years and if this is how owners do business I will not becoming back
Yummy... Some of the best authentic Filipino food in Stockton. I always like trying new things something I go.
Believe it or not but this place was recommended by the manager of another restaurant. It is so convenient as a grocery store to pick up a few things, a little gift shopping but the action at the deli area is crazy busy. The menu from breakfast to dinner is huge. They even have prepackaged food, pizza (individual and large) and salads. Grocery items are expensive but if you are staying in a nearby condo and need one or two items this in really handy.
Best place for grabbing picnic items, lunch, beautiful cakes and souvenirs. We even bought clothing here!
Been coming here for decades. Whenever I want a taste of home this is my #2 spot in town. Good food and reasonable prices. I needed lumpia for a party - walked in and got 50 pieces for $24 in a matter of minutes. Sorry, no pics - they did not last long ?
We originally went to the (super)market to pick up fruits but decided to try their hot food section. We ordered an ahi tuna wrap, galbi+rice and ahi tuna sandwich wrap. These were all made to order which resulted in hot, juicy tasty food. My adult kids loved the galbi so much that they ordered it on two separate visits. The poke bowl is pretty good too.
The Island Gourmet is owned and operated by ABC Stores. It is 1/3 Liquor Store. 1/3 Tourist Store (T-shirts, beach slippers, etc.) and 1/3 Food. A good portion of the food store is a deli. There are some fresh foods and packaged goods, but it's not a full grocery store and the grocery items they do have are extremely expensive. Go into Kona or up to Waikoloa Village for a full-service grocery store if you're in a condo and really wanting to prepare meals. The tourist items are competitively priced but the food and liquor are convenience store priced. Also they don't supply shopping bags so you can buy them for 25 cents each or bring your own.
