Hana Sushi is one of my favorite places, not only is the food always delicious and fresh but for the price you can't beat it. The restaurant is always cozy and welcoming and the staff is always very kind and attentive.
Horrible Customer Service. Came in at 840. They don't close till 9 pm we were told they only are doing to go. I said ok. I get it to go. Then another lady came out and said NO. We are closed. Sorry. I said you don't close till 9 it's 840. Can I please order. My daughter and I are really hungry me and drove along ways. They said NO . To sorry we are closed. I said it's 840 you close at 9. Not a Good experience at all.
This place is unfortunately on the less nice side of stockton, but it has some of the best Japanese food in the San Joaquin Valley. Their katsudon and tempura are better than most of the places in actual Japan. We've been here 4 times in the last couple months since discovering it, and will be many more times. You can tell whoever is cooking the food has true passion for what they are making.

Tried for the first time tonight. I'm baffled by their 4.8 rating, but perhaps sushi is their strong suit.Had the beef teriyaki. Sauce was good, but beef was tough with a lot of gristle & fat - which I've never encountered in any Japanese restaurant . The Miso was the strangest & worst I've ever had because of the large pieces of seaweed in it. If you enjoy the flavor of seaweed, you'll probably love it!The tempura vegetables w/shrimp were good & I'd order them again.And please, update your online prices. My order was a solid $8 more than your online menu pricing.
