Very bad experience. I had the spring rolls which taste good, but the dipping sauce was horrible. Too sweet yet bland taste. Will not buy again!! As for the mango sweet sticky rice, the rice wasn’t sticky at all and tastes bland. Mango was good though. Left me very disappointed when I was hyped. Please consider doing something else for the dipping sauce.

Green Papaya is a mandatory stop on our drives between Orange County and Lake Tahoe. My husband and I love their food and will order extra so that we can eat it for another 2-3 meals. During our last visit on April 21, we must’ve been so eager and pre-occupied with enjoying their wonderful food in our car while parked outside the restaurant, that we forgot to turn off the headlights. Unfortunately, the car battery drained and we were stuck (but at least our stomachs were happily full). We went back into Green Papaya and asked if any of the employees might have jumper cables and could give us a jump. To our pleasant surprise, the owner John said he did. We were so grateful for his kindness to take time out from his work to help us. We also appreciated the opportunity to talk with him and hear his and his wife’s story behind the restaurant. Not only does Green Papaya serve delicious food, but they sincerely care for their customers. If you haven’t tried it, you are missing out.

Went here for pad Thai and fried rice to go. A little on the greasy side, but flavorful. Waited for about 15 mins. Friendly staff and menu is not overwhelming. Would go here again.

Ordered the chicken soup and pad see ew. They ended up giving me pad Thai. Food tasted good, just got the wrong dish.

Used to be very good when they were operating from the food truck. Now it's meh. Quality of the food has gone way down.

Yellow curry with chicken is delicious! Pretty spicy if you ask for spice. Will return!

Skimpy, they use to be good but now it seems like they've gotten lazy, food getting smaller and either too salty or plain

Food was amazing ? worth the 2.5 hour drive!

I live in Hayward, but when I’m in the area I HAVE TO STOP HERE

Would've been a 5⭐ but they told me they'll call me when my food is ready (they even asked me for my number too). Waited in my car for at least 30 minutes and nothing so I had to call them instead especially I was driving from out of town passing through to Sacramento.
