The food is absolutely fantastic. The people were also very nice. I decided to check the place out after checking out the location of my new job. Parking was easy for me to find. I would highly suggest this restaurant and would go back on occasion. It is a little pricey, but it wouldn't stop me from going back.
It's... fine? I wasn't disappointed or anything, but this bbq certainly is not up to snuff compared to what you'll find in St Louis or Memphis. I did like their "hot" bbq well enough, but could have had more kick still. Might try elsewhere before returning.
Visited on 7/1, had the tri-tip sliders and fries. Food tasted ok, kind of bland. I was fine until the middle of the night, definitely food poisoning. Wouldn't be surprised if people are working sick with how short staffed everyone is right now.
100percent my daytime hangout, personally. Feels like I'm coming home when I sit down to have a beer. Great food great staff. Cheers to the fact that there's a business owner here that still wants to rep "Fat City.”
Need to check orders before leaving. Need to ask for sauce and check if orders were right and no missing and incorrect sides. Unhappy, because I didn't have time to go back and question them. Waste of time and gas. My family had unhappy experience. These are just small things I'm complaining about but I saw the faces of my family while eating because we didn't have barbecue sauce at home and it was very dry to consume all the meat.

Amazing food, staff was great. Was disappointed some of the food items were gone, but I suppose that's a testament to their great taste. Will definitely visit again!
Fast service and very tasty smoked pulled pork. They make their own bbq sauces and I liked most of them. Pulled pork didn't need sauce on it. The hot link was delicious too.
I happened to be in Stockton at lunch time so I looked for a place to eat. Came across Fat City Brew & BBQ. So happy that's what we chose. Got the two meat plate...brisket and pulled pork with onion rings and a side salad. So Good!!! The meats were juicy!! Some of the best BBQ meats I've had. The onion rings were good. I wish the salad had been made with romaine lettuce but it was mixed greens. The customer service was outstanding!! I would definitely return if in Stockton again.Saw the bathroom sign on my way out...loved it. Haha
Wonderful experience here! I got the beyond burger, and it was so full of flavor, and juicy (if that’s possible) I will definitely be returning here soon.
