El Pollo Loco is probably the healthiest out of all the fried chicken places. It’s just marinated chicken with no greasy batter.Their normal prices are quite high! Especially when you compare them to $5 for a whole rotisserie chicken at Costco right next-door. But El Pollo is a lot more convenient. Who wants to fight the crowds at Costco for a chicken. With my luck they’re normally out when I get there! ;)I only go here when I have a coupon. Recently I’ve been using the eight pieces of chicken for $10 coupon. That’s à la carte. The normal price for this eight piece chicken only is $21 which is, in my mind, ridiculous! I enjoyed the chicken tonight.Very friendly employees. No matter what my weird request is, they are always smiling. KudosP/S… The dining room is open for dine in!
This El Pollo Loco’s got the worst churros. I initially thought it was that particular morning (morning’s oil should be fresh and new right?) but went in again to see if it’ll be better. Same, had it replaced, same. Burnt, nothing fluffy like traditional mexican churros thats bready on inside. The oil is bad and they cook it for too long! They need to check on their recipe or Way they cook. Its like overly cooked crisps with dark oil. Ive tried other El Pollo Loco’s and theirs are perfect like how a real mexican churro should be. Bold, light colored and bready on inside.
Went to El Pollo Loco,ordered the same thing I got the day before w/ coupons the girl gets my order wrong and gives me attitude claiming I said "crunchy tacos" birria and not "stuffed quesadilla"...(which sound nothing alike) so she chucks the tacos in the trash and then proceeds to toss bits of corn and food at her fellow employee and he does the same in the kitchen mind you...then after I get home I realized they didn't give me chips that comes with it the day before. I also couldn't help but notice the times I've been there every single employee is Mexican/Latino....I've noticed similar with other Mexican and Asian restaurants only hiring their own....but yet any white business owners would get slammed if they did similar. Are you telling me noooo white/black/Asians have applied at El Pollo Loco??? Ridiculous...
Wherever we have an urge to have chicken, this is the to-go place for the most wonderful tasking chicken. Though we use coupons often, we also take advantage of El Pollo's budget meals that come with drinks. For the quality of food, it's hard to find a better deal. Plus, the staff has been trained to provide the best service. Whenever you have an urge for some delicious chicken, El Pollo Loco is the place to go.

I’ve been to many Pollo Locos but so far this one is my favorite and I will be recommending and definitely coming back. Elisa was such a wonderful person who took my big order in a short notice and still managed to get it done on time for me. She is the morning Manager and she always has great attitude and is always so polite. She’s a great example of GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE. I work for a big company and our companies need more great people like her with good attitude and someone who enjoys her job.
I went to this Pollo Loco location a few days back and I was impressed by the attendant Yuridia. She was so helpful and attentive when taking my order. The food was fresh and fantastic, definitely coming back.
Love the new birria menu. Unfortunately it’s only a limited time. So get it while it lasts.
This restaurant has tasty chicken. The sides aren't bad but I wouldn't recommend the macaroni & cheese. It is a Mexican themed restaurant, mac & cheese isnt their strong suit. That being said, there are other options that are all quite tasty. The coupons go out bi-weekly or so, they are affordable. I almost always get a tostada and a family meal(with coupons because I end up saving almost $20).
The food is good, but won't go back to this location anymore because they refused to take my order because I wasn't wearing a mask. I will go to a restaurant that doesn't subject their customers non-sense non-scientific tyrannical rules.
