The place is unique. I do like the fact that it is different, but its a bit messy and crowded. It's a hoarders dream diner. Everything in there from the table to tableware are secondhand. Didn't like the attitude of the older hostess much but our waitress was great. The food is ok not great. They were missing food items from the menu and had no decaf coffee. Pancakes and French toast were a bit burnt, but had a great taste. I probably won't be going back unless I have a craving for some French toast.
Then going there for a long time now since the 90s great food wonderful service wonderful people that work there highly recommend checking it out never been there. God bless establishment and the people that work there.
Food and service were great. Their pancakes are humongous, even the "smaller" version. I enjoyed my visit today. I had their #1 seller omelette with an added side pancake.
Had breakfast here the other morning with some friends. We were all quite satisfied with the food. I had an issue with the gravy on my chicken fried steak. It was way too spicy and unlike any “country gravy” that I’ve had before. I talked to our server. She said they are searching for a new supplier and this might be temporary. I hope so because I would love to enjoy another chicken fried steak breakfast but only with traditional country gravy. My friends had the French toast and said it was outstanding. We can’t wait to go back and order it again. This is a great breakfast spot. Closed Mondays. Otherwise open till 2 PM except Sundays when they close at noon.
Large portions. Service left a lot to be desired. We had a party of 4. We ordered and waited. They finally brought out our toast. We waited a few minutes more and then they brought out 2 plates. They then served another guest. Then they brought out one more plate. They then served 2 other guests. Finally, they brought out the final plate. The table was basically halfway through their meals already. They need a lot of work on their service.
This is what I needed this morning. Tasty food, generous portions, and an upbeat staff.Tri Tip Hash was delicious. Good pepper, just enough salt, and the eggs were cooked to a perfect Over Medium. Most places don't know how to cook an egg Over Medium It either comes out as Over Easy or Over Hard. Compliments to whoever was on the griddle. She even asked if she could get some treats for my service dog. I appreciate both the kindness and the fact that she asked first. Great form.I'll be back if I ever want breakfast in the area again.
Alot of food at a great ? price
Small crowed quick service really nice staff and great food. Feed the whole family.
The people who work there made me feel welcome and they had a table all ready for me. A table that would give us some privacy to take care of notarizing the papers for my new client. They even asked me if I need anything while I was there. To the Owners and the Employees: Thank you for everything.
Yikes. Quantity does NOT equate to quality. They gave us Sunny D for orange juice that had black stuff floating in it. The French bread French toast was ….an Interesting take. (Note: Just because it has French in the name doesn’t mean it goes together). The eggs! LOL scrambled eggs are the easiest to make. They were undercooked (Not standard) under, undercooked, but they LOOKED burnt. How?! They really, really, really need to clean, and Paint. Everywhere you look there’s some sort of dirt, grime, or thick caked dust on top of endless Knick knacks that liter the dinning area. I realize we are all struggling but this was a little much. I could have made a better breakfast for myself and my own home. Seriously stop with the Sunny D to customers and service regular Orange Juice.
