Good service, the waiter was great! Reasonably priced food! And the drinks were fantastic.

Such a gem of an establishment Bud and Matt. The seafood is always fresh. Calamari is the best ever. Oysters on a half shell are divine. I haven't touched Buds beef yet though lol. My mom helped Bud open up his bar area. Her claim to Fame. Hadn't been there in quite some time until the other day. Had a cup of chowder, best around and some fries calamari . Great job by the father son combo!
This week our group chose Bud's and it was so good, as always. Everyone was happy with theyre entrees. Just a really nice place to visit with servers that are exceptional.
Celebrated my 50th birthday dinner here. Brittany was a wonderful server. I had the ribeye and it was cooked exactly the way I like it: medium and juicy. The clam chowder was delicious. Perfect clam to potato ratio. Thank you for a lovely dining experience.
Update 03/05/2022: it was my father's birthday so my family gathered here to celebrate. The service was excellent! Our server, along with the other wait staff were friendly, helpful, and totally on top of things as they kept our water glasses and the bread and butter plates full. We were a big party, so we really do appreciate their attentive service.The food is usually great here. The salad was good and the clam chowder was delicious as always. However, tonight's entrees seemed off. My nephew had the seafood sauté with french fries. I reached over and had a bite of a scallop. It was overcooked and had a rubber-like texture. The fries were tasty.My hubby ordered the clams linguini. It came with a huge bowl of clams and a separate bowl of noodles. He shelled the clams into the noodles and would dip the noodles into the broth. The wait staff came by to clear empty dishes and instead of taking the shell bowl, he took the broth bowl. The noodles were bland and needed seasoning. Adding salt and pepper didn't help. My hubby wished that the wait staff left the broth bowl.I had the Bud's Beef and 3 grilled prawns. I was looking forward to it as I had always heard good things about Bud's Beef. The meat was nicely flavored but cooked to a medium instead of the medium rare I requested. I was not impressed with this entree. The meat appeared as though it was scraps thrown together to complete the plate, like it was the last one of the night. The prawns were grilled well, but also lacked flavor. With a price tag of $30, I was quite disappointed with my meal choice.Bud's is a staple in this community and I've had great meals here. It might have been an off night for the kitchen. I hope that the next time I go, the food is better.
The place was almost empty at about noon. Menu salad selections (one their specialties) - “dinner salad” was obviously prepared in advance- crabmeat and shrimp on greens - attractive presentation - the dinner salad was prepared with “pop corn” shrimp (so tiny - never used for a “dinner salad”); and, the crab meat (I think it was a single lump of white meat under the pop corn shrimp) almost escaped notice Giving them the benefit of the doubt, they obviously ran out of food from Saturday; and some jerk in the kitchen scraped the bottom of bowl to “craft” a salad dish for Sunday Just poor management - blame it on Covid - what else John (from Miami) where the shrimp and crab are bigger than chum
First time visit and service was not great. Came here for my sons birthday and the food was just ok. For the price of the food would at least expect all the food to come to the table hot.
First time here, got here at 1:45 p.m they were serving brunch we asked for a regular menu and we were told lunch will start at 2pm they brought the lunch menu and we ordered my meal came wih a salad they bought my salad I ate it at 2:30p.m the server came and said the manager said lunch does not start till 3p.m some looked at the tag prior to this if they seen my meal came with a salad. The server went back to ask the manager if he can start our ticket early he said no. Our first and last time there. Look at the menu it clearly states brunch till 2p.mJessie Flores
I have to thank my manager for introducing me to Bud's. We've enjoyed lunch here a couple of times. He loves the steak salad, I love the scallops, and we both enjoy the berry cobbler dessert. Service is solid too.
