This is my favorite restaurant. The service is fast, friendly and I enjoy the food. My spouse and I love to got to Arroyo's Cafe. It's our weekend stop.
I should have reminded them to bring my food hot. My food was simply boring. Store-bought, basic, corn tortillas. Not like I had remembered. The server was excellent.
Love this place. It's an Old Established RestaurantThat started on the South side of town. They moved up North and brought all their FamilyRecipes with them. One of the Last OriginalMexican Restaurants that still use FRESH INGREDIENTS, and make Food you grew up eating.
It has it's ups and down. The service is good but food can be hit or miss from time to time. Regardless I always bring my family on a weekly basis.
Good food at reasonable prices. the menu is large, breakfast all day. i had the chile relleno, it was ok, a lot more breading than i'm used to, out weighed the small chile inside. probably a regional take? . my wife had huevos rancheros and liked it very much. the building is a bit older but has a great view overlooking Quail Lakes.. pleasant service, was very busy with take out.
Service was fast & efficient. Food was hot & tortilla fresh and flavorful. Shrimp salad was fresh & tasty. Beer was ice cold. View was great.
The gentleman at our hotel recommend this place. The customer service was Great! Our waitress was very nice & checked on us several times. Our margaritas were pretty darn good as well! I was not disappointed in those. However, Our food was not the best tasting at all. It was pretty bland as far as I'm concerned. Had to add plenty of extra salsa just to add flavor. Unfortunately, I would not recommend this restaurant at all. While they do have friendly staff, which is why I gave 3 stars, but the food wasn't worth it.

Arroyo's Cafe is a wonderful Mexican restaurant on the lake in Stockton, California. The menu includes a wide range of Mexican dishes and meals. This was our first trip to Arroyo's Cafe, the service and food were excellent! The meal was full of flavor and cooked to perfection. You can see the lake from the restaurant and there is a bar, dance floor, and stage set up for the band!Do yourself a favor and give Arroyo's Cafe a try, you'll love it for sure!If you find my review helpful please give me a thumbs-up ? Celebrated an Anniversary dinner here. We ordered the 3 combination dinners; choice of tacos, enchiladas, chile rellenos, burritos (with your choice of meats- chicken, beef, or pork) served with Mexican rice and refried beans. Great ready for large portions, and flour tortillas on the side that got to be at least 12" in diameter! All food was authentic Mexican food and delicious!Excellent service. Large selection of beers from Mexico, and tasty margaritas too!
