go on taco tuesday and try all the tacos. my son raves about the birria. i have tried several menu items and liked them all.

This place was near my hotel so I figured I try it..... I ordered 1 taco de Adobada 1 taco de biria de res 1 taco de biria de chivo....not too much... it took 45mins to get my order which is excessive for a taco shop, the taco de Adobada was very tasty... the taco biria de res had no flavor and the taco de biria de chivo was just ok. Definitely not worth the wait...

This was replaced with Tacos El Jefe. No alchohol and it's not really a restaurant. Just a taco place with seats. We showed up excited to try it but then left to go to Olive Garden. We wanted a restaurant.

My first time here. Came here because it's the new place in town for tacos. I'm always willing to try something new, especially when it's a new taco place. I tried the other day to go there with my wife at lunch time during the week but was told that there was a 25-minute wait to get our food. We didn't have time and thought well if it's that busy it must be good. Came here today on a Saturday evening for tacos, finally. I ordered the al pastor the tripitas and the buche. The al pastor and the tripitas were pretty good. However, there was something not quite right with the buche. I ate it anyways but hope I don't have issues later. My wife ordered the carne asada and the al pastor. She liked them. Besides the buche, the only other issue I had was the teeny tiny little salsa containers that they provide for salsas. They are so small so you have to fill up about a dozen and you spend a lot of time at the salsa bar filling them up. Can you imagine when it's busy and this is all you have and one spoon to pour the salsa? Come on guys, get bigger salsa containers so that people aren't crowding the salsa bar. You get your sauce and you're out. Lastly, NO CARNITAS!!! A taco place, but NO CARNITAS!!! I believe they may be breaking some sort of taqueria law with no carnitas. Anyway, I'll probably be back to try them again some other day.

Couldn't wait to try this new local restaurant, neighbors raved about it, BUT my honey and were very disappointed! Being my first time I tried numerous tacos all meats needed more seasoning, chorizo was Burnt, lengua was ok. My honey had a Torta "her favorite" the bread was good, incorrect meat was served. Neither one of us will come back! Can't wait to see the neighbors!

After have a mediocre taco experience this week we decided to give this new place a try. Wow, we are so glad we did!Lots of choices on tacos! We ordered quite a few starting with Birria, pastor, carne asada, chorizo and an OMG taco which is a Chile relleno taco with your choice of meat. I chose chorizo. The tacos are simply meat, cheese and tortilla. There is a salsa bar with onion/cilantro mix, pickled habanero purple onions (delicious) cucumbers, carrots and 3 different salsas to choose from. The OMG was OMG delicious! Out of all the tacos, the carne asada was the best. Birria was excellent but was missing something, we could not place the missing taste. Pastor was delicious but also a little bland.Sodas are from a can, free ice water on the counter, horchata available, no beer or margaritas. Good inside dining area. Clean and nicely lit.Taco prices were very affordable. We will definitely be back to try more!

This place needs to update GrubHub menu and upgrade customer services education. Every day transactional Contracts are made. Offer, Acceptance, Consideration, and Agreement.I ordered through GrubHub. Purchase completed through GrubHub. I only called the "Tacos El Jefe" to revise received order confirm the ingredients of the purchase. Instead of responding to ingredient questions, the cashier / front desk staff questioned my order and they told me the order incorrectly charged. I responded is not my job to update restaurant menu online through GrubHub.Over the phone, "Tacos El Jefe" agreed at the GrubHub price, an agreement made. Contract completed verbally, in writing, and transactional.Showing up at the "Tacos El Jefe" did not want to give me the food order that was paid and agreed on multiple of times. The cashier said," I will cancel your order, or you can pay the difference" - cashier. Food order delayed because of this.I argued a breach of contact in (Offer + Acceptance+ Consideration). Additional time spent for their education in this matter.Disputed. At the end, they fulfilled their side of the bargain. I reported to GrubHub. GrubHub agrees "Tacos El Jefe" needs to update their menu 1 star = services.

Just tried this somewhat new place for takeout dinner and am ready to go back and try more of the menu. The birria (both goat and beef) is terrific. The service was timely and friendly and the price is good too.

Crunchy Tacos Dorados were great. Birria with cheese.

Excellent quality meats! Huge portions too. I just wish they had a spicier salsa option.
