This Denny’s should be avoided by animal lovers, as they do not allow service animals of any kind at this denny’s location.I contacted the denny’s located on Beach & Garden Grove Blvd in the City of Garden Grove, in order to confirm a special which was being advertised online ( 6.99 all you can eat breakfast). Once confirming that they do have the special for 8.99, I requested a table for 2, so both my wife and I could sit down and eat after a long day ( 12:31 am). We decided to make the 10 minute walk instead of placing an online order. Upon arriving to the location we were refused service the second we walked through the door with my service dog Buddy . I explained that I have epilepsy and that he is a service dog, but KEVIN the manager refused us service for no reason other than Buddy. If your animal lover than find another denny’s and save yourself the horrible experience of discrimination. Shame on you Denny’s on Beach Blvd & Garden Grove Blvd.

This location is a mess!!! Awful service, terrible communication and staff that had to return twice because "over easy was too complicated to understand" Food that was visibly burnt to a crispy. In all honesty, you'd be better off going across the street to the Chevron gas station with the piss poor quality food this location is serving

Oh. My. God. The 5 pepper hamburger. Don't miss this folks. It's awesome. I suggest you remove the pickles. You don't need them. You'll be going to bed with a nice happy quiet tummy. So much satisfaction with this. Holy smokes.

kind of poor service food was like whatever but that was my only option since I wasn't really able to drive to a decent restaurant, d environment in there and d food are like a fast food restaurant.

Excellent customer service!!! Food is truly fresh and delightful. (Wish our original table had been cleaner to give 5 stars!!!)

Hubby and I live close by and pass this location often. We weren't impressed years ago and our most recent visit did nothing to improve our opinion. Service was good, food was ok.

They make almost the best pancakes and French toast

By far some of the worst service I ever received at a restaurant. 90min from when we placed our order till we had to chase down the manager and ask what the deal was. Turns out they never even started it. Then when served each meal was missing elements. No silverware has to go get it. Just all bad af

This Denny's gets a five star because our server was awesome her name was Annabelle also they weren't being covid cops with the mask bs

I ate here late Saturday night (technically, early this morning, as it was after midnight). I arrived at 1:20AM. I was forced to wait about 8 minutes at the front desk (which had no host on duty) before someone deigned to notice me.When an employee finally came to the front, at 1:28AM, he said "we can only take to-go orders, because it's after 1:30."I replied "No, it's only 1:28AM.", and I showed him the clock display on my phone. He replied, "it doesn't matter; we can't serve you."I insisted. He consulted his manager. He returned and stated that his manager had ordered him to seat me. He obviously did not like that fact. When I attempted to speak to him, he yelled "BE QUIET!!!". He then refused to seat me. So I had to grab a menu and take a seat. He came over and said "We won't serve you. Leave now or I'll call the police."So I had to go see the manager. The manager forced me to wait another 15 minutes before he would deign to speak to me. And then he kept getting confused and I had to repeat all questions and answers 5 times. He finally asked, "What is it that you want?"I calmly replied "I would like your waiting staff to serve me in a professional manner at my table, like your other clientele. Why are you so prejudiced against me?"He stared at me silently for 15 seconds, said "Jesus Christ.", turned his back, and walked away.I waited.2 more minutes later, he came back and said "You again?? What do you want?"I calmly replied "I would like your waiting staff to serve me in a professional manner at my table, like your other clientele. Why are you so prejudiced against me?"He FINALLY got the message, and ordered one of his serving staff (a different one) to serve me.The FOOD (double cheeseburger and fries) was good. The SERVICE, on the other hand, was the worst I've had in 31 years. I left a tip of 2¢.(The only worse incident was at Reno's Restaurant in Tustin, which only existed for 1 month then promptly went bankrupt, and for very good reason: the food and service both sucked. But I digress.)Bottom line: The food at this restaurant is good, but DON'T eat here if you want good service. The service at this restaurant is perhaps the worst on planet Earth. And no, this is NOT the first, last, or only time I've been here; I've been here before, and the service was abysmal on those occasions also.
