I can't believe I am even writing a BAD review, it's sad actually! This place was unbelievable the WORST service I have ever had in my life! I have been coming to this place for awhile now and LOVE this food and never had the service that I had tonight. My husband went and ordered food and first off, it was not fresh, there was so much rice I couldn't believe there was more rice than anything else! $15 of Rice! When my husband came home and we were about to eat I couldn't believe when I open it up and saw what they served us I was shocked! I went back and complained and literally CASSANDRA argued with me saying that's what we serve and asked for a fresh plate she straight out said no! I said you will not give me a fresh plate she said no! She was so rude and ARGUING with me (I am the customer) I have worked in customer service for 25 years and never had I treated a customer like the way she treated me or have I ever seen or heard a employee treat their customers like that. Not only that she was also calling my husband a liar on what he ordered! Completely not ok in all directions!

Amazing food and they stuff the plates with chicken and all ! The macaroni salad is ?? definitely come eat here.
Employees didn't explain how their service operated and when I got home with lunch, employee behind the counter had placed 1/4 portion of cooked cabbage in container, and no sauce was included.They stated I was to add it myself at their sauce dispenser.I told the young lady I wouldn't return and she casually stated okay and hung up.Very poor customer service.
I got the bbq combo and a side of the shrimp. The shrimp was very small for the price, and honestly not that impressive. But the chicken, ribs, and beef was very very tasty! And the portion was huge ? The macaroni salad is tasty as well. Better than your typical grocery store deli salad.

This restaurant, part of a chain, is located adjacent to a Walmart in a large strip mall in a rejuvenated Garden Grove area close to the 22 freeway. The interior is clean and spacious. The combo plates averaging $13-14 are a bit pricey. However, portions are very generous. Our lunch boxes of BBQ mix (beef, Kalbi short ribs and chicken) were so packed that they could barely be closed. The yummy proteins were all deliciously marinated with just the right amount of sweetness. The two scoops of macaroni salad, along with the softly cooked cabbage, tasted very ono. It took me two separate sittings to finish my lunch. There’s enough food for two to share a delicious, generously portioned combo plate.
Spam musubi is very good at this place. I've eaten their combination plate, but I'm disappointed in their bbq beef. When they first opened, their beef was lean with very little fat. Now, it taste like a lesser quality beef that's very fatty. They have delicious macaroni salad. Good service and a clean restaurant.
I don't know if it's because of the pandemic or you have new kitchen staff but my Loco Moco was not like anything near what it used to be. I purposely went to the garden grove location tonight to get the "better of the Loco mocos", as opposed to going to my local restaurant off of Brookhurst. The extra time and distance used to be worth it, but I discovered that it no longer is. The meat was over cooked and very dry, the Mac was still good but something was different about it as well. The sauce that goes on top doesn't taste anywhere near what it use to. I know that this sounds really bad, but I I want to make it clear, I am unhappy with the order, from this location, that I received tonight. I even ate as much as I could, it wasn't disgusting, a little tough, but it just wasn't the Loco Moco I had thought I was going to get.
