Best korean foof in town

I love mom's tofu house but this location is very mediocre. Besides the nice interior the food is very meh. Got budae jigae and it was so salty. The beef hot stone bowl just taste like sesame oil without much flavor. Their buchan is also meh but the radish was good.

The flavor is pretty mild and sweet for American style Korean cuisine

Everything is good. From chicken wings to ramen, to the pork belly salad, to seafood bowl, to tofu and the potato soup was delicious. it was followed up with sweet rice tea. Delicious!

Best Tofu house in the U.S. Food is super delicious especially the rice! Staff members are very nice! Will come here again and again!

Authentic high quality Korean food! First off, really nice and relaxing ambiance and staff. The side dishes were healthy and fresh. The rice came in a stone pot, which was nice and tasted really good.I had the pork rib kimchi biji jigae, which is extremely hard to find in restaurants, and it was pretty similar to how my mom makes it!

Great Korean tofu soup restaurant. Friendly and helpful staff. Nice place inside. Clean and excellent price for value. Will be going back for sure.

I went to Mom's tofu house before at its previous location in south city as well as the millbrae location. While both times weren't great visits, I was stunned by my visit to the recent opening of this new location. It's located downstairs in the building, with a long interior with lots of tables. We ordered the spicy chicken wings, japchae, seafood pancake, and bulgogi tofu soup (under mom's favorites, not spicy tofu soup). The sides came out really quick and our food soon after. The chicken wings weren't too spicy but still had a nice flavor to them. The japchae was probably my favorite as you could taste the quality of the dish. The seafood pancake was huge and had a wide variety of seafood in it. Unfortunately, we were unimpressed by the bulgogi tofu soup. The waitress had mentioned it wasn't going to be the same as the usual tofu soup, but we understood that. What we were more disappointed about was that we had expected something similar to the photo in the menu, but the dish did not resemble it at all. I think we would have rather had gotten a regular tofu soup at that point. The prices of these dishes are also a lot more than most korean restaurants. However, the quality of most of their dishes are really high. While I would probably come again, I would not order the bulgogi tofu soup again.

Really nice clean and high quality korean tofu restaurant. I want to say this is the same restaurant from down the street that moved but I didn’t ask. Still great cuisine and worth a try. 5 stars in my book
