Ahh, the famous Max's. The tamarind oxtail soup was hot and delicious, and is cleaning me right out only 3 hours after I started eating it. there must be a some wicked good gut bugs in it. must arrive dressed next time to test the hypothesis that I got the nudist special from Cook himself. It was so warm, I biked here wearing only boxers
Max's in San Francisco...haaay! The guy said they're closed, but lady said no. They let us in just before they closed at 3pm. They gave us kare kare that's have just vegies plus 1 pc of fat and full of gravy. Sinigang had lots of bones and few vegies lots of soup. The guy and the woman even arguing in front of customers, who's gonna serve the table and who'll take payment....in short, poor service! That's for me, I dunno for others! Sorry...hope they'll give better service next time.
Awesome deep fried chicken good Filipino food I love their sinigang soup even though I felt it was a little pricey forgive me if I misspelled the soup I gave it a four star due to the fact that the place could use a little remodeling little bit of touch up liven up the place a little other than that great service good people good food
OK but not as good as the ones in the Philippines. We will have to try other Filipino restaurants because we won't be back. Poor service and greasy food. No thanks. Gave 3 stars because my wife liked the poncit

Quite pricey for a regular filipino food but its quite delicious
Chopsuey was tasty along with Crispy Pata (pork hock), but service was lacking. Prominent sign displays they proudly brew Starbucks coffee but they said they 'no coffee' when I asked for one. Pepsi only, no Coke, no beer/wine. Had to re-ask far too many times for missing requests: no ice in water, soda, rice, check.
