I am not sure what happens here, but everytime there's different prices. I always get the same stuff and some employees charge more and some charge less
One of the best Mexican bread and pastries shops in the SF Bay Area. Wonderful selections. Bread comes out at different times of day freshly baked, nice and hot. Smells amazing when you walk in. You can also order cakes. There's other pastries as well as coffee service. Staff is very helpful and courteous.
Grab tongs and a tray when you enter. Nothing is labeled so you have to know what you're looking for, but everything is tasty so don't worry if you grab something unfamiliar. The staff is completely sweet.
By far the best pan dulce in the Bay Area. I don't buy pan dulce anywhere else. Having grown up in Mexico City, my pan dulce standards are high and Las Hijas del Gallo meet them. The staff is wonderful too.
Every time I walk in here for there conchas I end up buying a few bags worth of it.... soo good

OMG!! This place is awesome! Pasties are all made fresh daily. If you time it right the Mexican Bread will just be coming right out the oven. Las Hijas is not a overpriced coffee shop. They serve Coffee, Tea, donuts, Mexican Bread, Customize cakes & the best Mexican Hot Chocolate. The place is small and there always a line. But! really worth the wait. Street parking is tough. There is a meter parking lot across the street. If you try Las Hijas Del Gallo once you will be going back for seconds.
Oh how sweet it is, and how wonderful one feels when walking in to this traditional Mexican bakery -- the conchas are yummy! They actually prepare & produce the pastries and treats on site -- and it is not only delicious but the aromas and variety of treats makes it challenging to pick just one!
