3.6 stars (I wanted to round up to 4 since I didn't want to hurt a small business)Great but overpriced sushi. Pretty disappointing experience... I stopped by this restaurant before my flight as I was craving some sushi and this place had good reviews. I had nigiri combo(which is not in the menu, you need to ask for it), sashimi deluxe half order and their combo dessert. For sashimi deluxe, while the fish was diverse and delicious (as you can see in the pictures) I didn't like the sauce they used for some of them. Nigiri combo was very good. Dessert was very good (though overpriced as well). Overall the environment/restaurant was very clean and nice. The music was too loud. They use the sushi bar spot for takeout orders, which tells me they have more takeout orders than omakase customers.TLDR; I won't be back but it's definitely not a bad restaurant. There are just much better sushi restaurants out there.
They weren’t supposed to be open on a Monday, but happened to be open. Thank the lucky stars for being able to dine here. 2 thumbs up all the way. Try the uni shooter! Will spread word about this place. A must dine for any foodie.
Chicken katsu was perfectly fried. Probably the best katsu I’ve had. Had several of the nigiri also. Fish seems high quality but it was really the katsu that was the star
This place is too small or they haven't optimized the available space. The seating is a bit crowded, the area around the sushi counter is cluttered, and the child booster seats are stored in the bathroom, across from the toilet (parents beware?).If not for that, this place is pretty classy. Pleasant aesthetically, cleanliness and service are fine, no issues. They plate everything beautifully.I don't recommend the sushi. It tastes like it's been brushed with lemon juice. We've never experienced that anywhere else and it's... odd. The water they serve is also very lemony, so it's pretty overpowering. The cedar wagyu, on the other hand, is basically art. Their desserts are also amazing. I recommend the apricot begneits and deep fried taro ice cream. It would honestly be worth coming here just for the wagyu and begneits, but we'll be exploring the other areas of their menu.
This a great cozy sushi place with wide variety of options. The service is good, the staff is extremely friendly. I have been to Kamu sushi multiple times and have never been disappointed.
Amazing Sushi and Sashimi. We had the Wagyu On Fire roll, Spider Roll and Hamachi Ceviche! Some of the best I’ve ever had. Even the miso soup was some of the best I’ve ever had.
I like this place! They offer high class meals, their menu is rich, The cook in that restaurant is a professional, I enjoy a lot trying all their food. The dishes are consistently fresh and tasty, the service towards the visitors is friendly. I often go to this place and I was never unsatisfied. I recommend this place.
Great presentation & super tasty. A little expensive but it was great. Thanks
Top quality ingredients, super fresh seafood, creative menu and great service always.
This place had me absolutely sick the next 3 days after eating there. Not only was the service bad but the sushi rolls or whatever they put in them we're bad too.I had 3 rolls are one and a half and took the rest home.
