I ordered the cheese buldak and soy garlic drumsticks. Warning: the cheese buldak is quite spicy. If you think you can normally handle spice, think again, but if you like spicy (and I mean SPICY?️?️?️), then it'll be fine. Fried chicken was dry and could use sauce on the side. Also, it's cash only here.
When I got there they mentioned it would be about 20 minutes for my order and ended up taking 40. Also, pretty sure they forgot my order because I had to go up to ask.
First time here, visiting with my kids for my daughter's graduation. Ordered the spicy chicken tacos, which were really good. Also got boneless chicken and chicken tenders. Their seasoned fries are a must have. Good portion sizes. I left feeling full. Will definitely go check out their San Diego location when I get home. Their staff was very friendly. We didn't wait very long for our food and it came out hot and fresh. Thanks for a great experience!
It’s been a minute since I’ve Bonchon. Came here with the family for Mother’s Day. Wait wasn’t too bad. Service was great! Attentive staff.Food came out in all sorts of order. Chicken came out before the appetizer but not by much. Chicken was just as good as the first time I’ve gone to Bonchon. Since it’s been a while since I’ve uploaded anything, my pictures have gone down a bit lol. I’m missing a bunch of items we ordered. I’ll remember to take more next time.Definite place I’d go back to.
Great Chi Mac style chicken. Could be better in my opinion but others might disagree. The sweet soy chicken was too salty. The spicy chicken was so spicy it made the chicken inedible for the family. The bimbibap was fantastic and reminded us of Korean food in Seoul. Wait staff were very friendly and helpful.
I deliver but restaurant never provided cup holder . I deliver 3 times same word one week before . Restaurant guys saying we don't have cup holder . You guys doing business . U can't keep small cup holder . How carry cup in my car think about it so un professional restaurant???
Bonchon makes hella crispy wings. The spicy sauce is excellent - tasted like a mix of gochujang and soy. Prices at this spot is $$$ - set me back $30+ for a lunch for myself and my son. That being said, they have big portions and sold flavors. Doesn't measure up to local Korean spots, but this is not bad for fast casual.
Best location in the bay, and I've been to a few. The one in South SJ is a close second. Chicken stayed crispy and hot all the way til the last piece. Our server was hella cool. She made us feel very comfortable. Of course, the peach soju helped. I'm most definitely coming here again despite being closer to the Sunnyvale location, where our server was from.
