Great place! They have a bar 62. Enjoy)

Oh My Goodness! One of the best meals we've had in ages! My 8yo granddaughter loves sushi and we were in South lake Tahoe for a couple of nights in June. There are a number of sushi places to choose from in Tahoe, but I liked the look of The Naked Fish, and it was very near our hotel. My wife said the coconut curry was the best she'd ever had, and I had one of their spotlight sushi meals with tempura shrimp, mahi and avocado. Wow, just wow. If I lived in Tahoe this place would be my guilty pleasure every week!

We went to Naked Fish twice during a stay in Tahoe and found the sushi there to be excellent. I'd definitely recommend sitting on the sushi bar side, though as the service was much quicker and more attentive there than when we sat on the alcohol bar side of the building. I'd really recommend sushi chef Patrick! He did a great job and even created some very tasty omakase offerings for me on the fly ??

This place never disappoints! Though sitting sometimes is a wait, the drinks, appetizers, and rolls keep us coming back. This place has been around for so many years, and the reasons it has outlasted the others are simply amazing sushi, friendly staff, and great atmosphere. As a vegetarian, I always order the Omakase roll, oh my, divine every single time! Even my non-vegetarian family eats this roll with enthusiasm. I also recommended the Agedashi Tofu, it is the best that I’ve ever had, period. The fish eating family lives the fresh sake sashimi. Spicy edamame and a cocktail gets our tastebuds jumping. We go for early dinner to beat the crowds, but locals tell us that lunch is the best because it’s the same menu and never a wait to sit. Naked Fish SLT, please don’t ever leave us! We will see you soon.

Cute restaurant. Great food and service! Highly recommend.

Food is great here, but the problem is working hours are the matter of change each day. I did manage to get a table here once, but afterwards one day restaurant simply was closed during expected working hours. Next day it was closed, but was going to open, however there was no estimate when exactly.

We were craving sushi while in Tahoe. We found it on review, so stopped in. Small, corner restaurant but WOW the food! We got rainbow roll = fresh. The Maui Wowi roll, yum with a special sauce on it. But the Udon noodle bowl with pork belly was the best we’ve ever tasted = Flavorful! Recommend a stop if in Tahoe.

Really good - “Quality sushi”!! Ask for Benjamin at the sushi bar.

This place is pretty amazing. The quality of the fish they have is excellent, and the creativity they have with their rolls and even with their nigiri fish is very good, so to my mind you get excellent fish and really good creativity and that's the best of both worlds. The staff is really nice, we sat at the sushi bar and they were really fantastic, to the point that I went back the next day to add more tip to the tip bowl. Went back once and I will definitely go on any subsequent trips.

It was delicious, and it was packed. Despite that the team behind the counter was fast paced and personable, helping us choose good dishes, and replacement drinks for what had run out at the bar.I had never had sushi in the Sierra Nevada, but this will be a stop every time I visit. They gave us recommendations for what to do after dinner as well. Thanks everyone!
