Was not expecting the food to be as good as it was. It surpassed all expectations! Would go back to try more next time. Every dish that came out was top notch! The fry breading was all Japanese Tempura inspired which came out of left field but delivered!
Nice and cozy place. Good food taste. But just a few servers.
Food and service were good but be careful by the fireplace. Our daughter got too close and burned the back of her jacket. Thankfully it was just her jacket and didn’t get any burns on her body. Staff told us it’s not the first time and people have burnt their jackets before. There’s no sign or any screen to keep kids away.
We had made reservations for 8 and was greeted at the door and taken to our seats. The waiter was welcoming. The atmosphere was nice. We ordered our drinks and we each placed our orders. Their shrimp appetizer was delicious. My steak of perfect. Everyone enjoyed what they had ordered. My 4 year old loved the clam chower which he did not share. The price was reasonable. I definitely would go back here.
I Went here for my Birthday! I was in Tahoe for a Mini Vacation and I was craving like pasta and steak something like that and this Place was it!! Super Delicious Pasta!! Perfect Steak. And my Husband got combination plate of Ribs and chicken he said it was really Good.
Not super impressed. Waitress complained the whole time to another employee how tired she was and how sick her kid was... and then asked the bartender right in front of me if she could have off work early, then stared at me until I was ready for my check because I was her only customer and she had to wait to close put my check so she could leave. Super awkward scenario and can't image that I would return. The food was subpar and greasy.
A hidden gem. Slipped in for a late dinner. The bartender and cook were running the whole house and staying busy. I had steak and pasta with a salad. my friend had pasta and salad. The food was good the service fine as well. It is nice to see a good ole place that hasn't raised the price of steak too high. This is old time Tahoe and a nice place for a causal dinner.
We had a great meal here, our first stop after getting to town.
