I visited here several times when I was in California. This is one of the most impressive restaurants I have been, and I suddenly miss here so much. All the food my friends and I ordered taste really good and delicate, and the sizes of dishes are generous. Especially I recommend their Tiramisu, and don't miss out the chef's specials! Sorry I did not remember the name of our waiter, he is so descent and friendly. Hope I can visit their again very soon.
Delicious, authentic rustic Italian! Home-made pasta, cheeses, and aged prosciutto is appreciated. Mike’s a real pleasure as a waiter. All of our dishes were flavorful and plentiful. Shared the rock shrimp appetizer, unique; the iceberg salad, very shareable size; lasagna, generous portion, rich and meaty with great balance of flavors (a little less sauce); seafood pasta, again generous size, spicy, best ever; finished with the almond torte. Large wine selection, many wine bottle prices are quite reasonable. My only con is to make an investment in the visual and comfortable-ness of the space which is lacking in matching the wonderful-ness of the food. Atmosphere is okay, could be polished up a bit to be more authentic rustic, warm, inviting and comfortable, a put off initially, very American shoestring “vanilla bistro concept” but the food makes up for what is missed in the visual experience. Train your busser to be prepared for a question. It’s in a strip mall so tucked away off the street which is a bonus for some quiet patio dining. Prices are very reasonable for quality of food. Not to be missed Italian in Lake Tahoe.
If you want italian GO HERE. They have a unique taste while holding true to the style with fantastic service and prices.Service...Best service I have had in awhile, friendly and charming, attentive, yet still giving us privacy to eat. I have only had service this good a handful of times in my life, way to go Joe.Food...The Ceaser salad...was incredible with a unique but expected dressing topped with some really good bread topping.Commplementary bread olive oil vinigar dip...accented with garlic and was fantastic both my wife and i loved it, and im not a huge fan of that style dip but she is.swordfish special...My wife said it was soft and tasteful, from my persepctive it looked cooked very well, she was amazed at the taste and quality.chicken parmagian...I added a side of the garlic alfredo sauce, all was unique from everything i had before breaking the mold of normal big box reataurants while still hitting the exact spot you want, the quality was impecable, no bad parts of chicken, taste of top quality. The garlic alfredo sauce was unique and the best i think ive ever had.Dessert...We had a vanilla style dessert that was a perfect balance of not to sweet but still being bold and flavorful, it didnt taste like a sugarbomb. You could tell they used real vanillabean. One of the best ive ever had.We also got some long islands to drink and they were great, the owner should raise prices by 20% immediately because I would have expected 30% more for that quality and service. This is now a go to for me whenever i am in the area.
I usually like Primos, but tonight I had Alfredo with chicken... it was tasteless, pasta was sticky and tasteless.... after the meal I sent 2/3 of the meal back, mentioned it to the servers, and yet,.... not one cent was taken off the bill.
The veal was superb to say the least! The Roman gods wept when this dish was created. The meat was so tender my fork swipe chunks as if it was a lightsaber. Normally, I’m used to Patsy’s sauce “Manhattan location” which is spicier but this was better imo! It Had enough body and the viscosity to create just the right texture allowing the crisp tomato flavors to surface. The noodles and customer service left something to be desired. I wanted to order more food but the woman taking my order rushed me off the phone but I was able to get the lemon bars which were okay but the cannoli is where it’s at! It really stands out and has a very creamy mascarpone! I ordered two separate times only got bad customer service once and wouldn’t hold it against the establishment, the food is well worth a visit regardless of attitudes
Such a great place with amazing food. We got the deep fried brussel sprouts as an appetizer and it was one of the best things I've ever had. My wife got the egg plant Parmesan which included some pasta. I got the swordfish on risotto. We loved each dish and mine came with a few more of the brussel sprouts. You can't go wrong eating here
Incredible. Atmosphere: C+. Service: B+ Food: A+. Never heard of Market Price Bruschetta, but it was the highlight of my meal. I split a Primo Salad, with fig, and wished to keep it all for myself. My seafood pasta dish was great, and the cannoli was house-made and perfect. A premium chianti made it the perfect meal. The staff were working very hard to provide great service. I admit that the atmosphere is lacking the feel of a traditional Italian restaurant, but the place did have a strong Tahoe vibe. Thank you staff, for providing a memorable meal. See you next time!...
I confirmed two days before the reservation via phone. However, when I called the day of the reservation they said I had canceled it but that was not the case. When I called the other day to confirm I had asked for them to accommodate 20 instead of 18, to which they said no problem.Luckily, when I spoke to whomever on the phone the day of the reservation, they said they still had room for 20.We ended up only having a party of 18 show for the dinner. When we arrived they did not have to set menus as planned. (They do set menus for party’s bigger than 15) I spoke with the manager Lucas and he said they could do the $40 set menu plan but some things were unavailable. (The “set menu” was practically nothing like the ones they emailed me the days prior) At that point my party was hungry and we had no other reservations so I agreed with Lucas. To my knowledge everyone was getting their own dishes but they did it family style. I’m guessing because of the amount food? I’m not sure. Must I say the bartender and servers were very good at their jobs. It seemed like they were doing they’re best to accommodate us….The food was not all that good and we were over it by then. Then came time to pay and I spoke with Lucas and asked about the prices since the food was served family style to which he said it would still be $40 dollars a person. Seemed like a rip off to us. I asked about the 2 children and 2 teenagers we had with us and Lucas agreed to not charge the children, meaning they would eat for free, and then charge the two teenagers $25 a person. When it came time to pay, we were charged for 19 people at $40 a person and then charged us an extra $25 for a child. Thus meaning we were charged for 20 people. For one, we did not have that many guests and for two, I had an agreement with the manager Lucas. I did not find this out until the next morning from the groom of our party. My bride and groom were very upset, as so was I.I emailed one of the other managers Jim about the whole ordeal the day after the dinner and he replied back stating he would talk with his staff and then reach out to me..not even offer atleast a refund for the over charge of guests. On top of that, he never even got back to me !! I’m still awaiting his response.. almost a month later!!In conclusion, FAIR WARNING!!!! Do not eat at this restaurant if you have a larger party of guests or party expect high quality food!

Service was great, but food was pretty tasteless. Chicken marsala is always wonderful, but here, the chicken was leather, and the sauce dull. Sorry to gig a local joint, but it really isn't worth returning to.
