Originally from Pasadena, CA I grew up loving Panda. Having served in the military I’ve been out of state for several year. Our Memphis, TN Panda wasn’t great but had to do while living in the Mid-South. Having visited this Tahoe location while on vacation my family and I were pleasantly surprised by the quality, quantity and friendliness of the staff. Stephanie was exceptionally helpful, professional and overall nice with our large family and the guest before and after us. Thank you.
As an on-the-go vegan, it was great to be able to order a side of plain, steamed white rice from this Panda Express. When I asked if they'd be so kind as to change their gloves before serving, they were more than willing and understood - no questions asked! Side can come in medium or large. So happy they still serve this item without added preservatives/colorings/flavors/oil :)
If you found one Panda Express your condo them all they have some staffing issues going on right now but their food is acceptable I don't go out of my way to go here cuz I don't like fast food very much but their food is acceptable from time to time
I don't think i've ever been here and there not been a problem with customers. Business is ran like a circus.
Closed despite hours listed right outside for the specified day on a printout. It looked like they were very very far from opening as well (30+ mins), with employees that completely ignored everyone and arrived even after the posted restaurant open time. From the other reviews, honestly looks I dodged a bullet.
Food ok but every table was dirty. Loads of napkins, food, face masks on the floor. Trash bins full and overflowing. Simple and easy things like keeping a clean restaurant shows how much care is given. In this case none.
Food was cold and wasn't that fresh , service was slow and they forgot our teriyaki sauce!.I ordered online so I don't wait long in the store, but they end up helping everyone else in the store and then gave my order! I think it would take less time if I just place in the store and not online.
Panda Express in general is hit and miss and this one has been a big ole miss 18/20 I have been there. It will officially be the last. I know the tired people getting off the mountain are so hungry they may not mind, or even think about returning. I was stoked when this opened but they really stopped trying shortly after opening. The selection was slim, not much offered and the food that was ready was dry and look/tasted like it had been out for a couple days. very small portions. usually the steak is not fully cooked. prices are also continuously going up. they way some people work there make the portions is ridiculous. asking for a grilled chicken and getting one small piece of chicken in my plate etc. if i want panda now i only get it from Carson City. PE in South Lake Tahoe is a joke. Plate with steak + soda comes to almost $15. not worth it, especially in South Lake Tahoe
Tried to place a large order for my store and as soon as I said large order the person on the phone hung up on me then was laughing when I called back... now I do not trust them to not mess with our food.... how do these people stay employed?
