Good food, cozy indoors and outdoors seating.Food portion is okay, little less compared to American Diners, so a little expensive also. The grilled sandwich is a must! Super good!
Only go if you crave tasty authentic Mexican food. You can see the pride of ownership in this restaurant. It’s small but it’s clean and the decor is very nice. Almost as nice as the lady that was working the counter and taking care of all the tables. This is Cinco de Mayo 2022 and the lunch crowd was larger than the restaurant could seat, but she managed every customer with kid glove care. I ordered the Carnitas Plato and once I took my first bite I understood why it was busy. My wife had the huevos ranchero and thoroughly enjoyed it.It doesn’t have a bar or fancy drinks, or a live music area. But it doesn’t need those “accessories” to overcome a lack of tasty authentic Mexican food. We’ve passed by the big budget restaurants that appear to be Mexican-inspired - kind of like Taco Bell with bigger servings, and big booze selections to deaden your taste buds and make the food appear better. Maya’s doesn’t need that. Get what you crave, get what you pay for and do business with a team that delivers on their mission to provide great tasting food.
LEFT MY PURSE THERE AND THE OWNER STOLE $200 FROM MY PURSE. THEIFS . DON’T COME HERE. OWNER HAS NO INTEGRITY AT ALL .
The food is very good. My husband had menudo and it had good flavor not greasy which is an A+. Also I ordered a Chile relleno burrito and it was juicy cheesy delish! and lastly their green salsa was very good.Their customer service was A+Will come back and people should come too! They serve authentic Mexican food.
The portions are huge, and the service was great, but we weren’t overwhelmed by the food. If you’re looking for a place in Heavenly Village to get a few drinks it’s great. Bring your appetite, but don’t expect the food to complement the beautiful scenery.
We were over there for lunch! We asked for something that was not expensive but our check was a lot! The lady charged 15% tips without our authorization! They even asked if we needed something else, nothing! I payed for tips without any permission and we received bad service!!! No coming back there!!!
Don't come to this restaurant, super unprofessional the cashier charged me 15% free without asking me, she charged me a higher price than what the board said and they don't give you the purchase receipt maybe so you don't see what they are charging you and he didn't even apologize or return the difference to me when I asked her why, instead she told me he charged 15% gratuity because the waiters didn't want to work without a tip anymore, you don't say that to a customer when You do not know how much he is going to leave you as a tip and instead of that, you better charge him without asking him? He showed me a very small sign that he had in the corner of the glass counter that said that customers were charged 10% on orders larger than $20 and 15% on orders over $80 and mine was $45 more or less and He charged me 15% and when I asked him, despite knowing that he was wrong, he did not apologize nor did he try to return the difference to me, instead he began to discuss why they compulsorily charge the tip, terrible taste to be part of customer service I feel bad for being having this conversation in front of the customers. I hope that each client asks for their receipt and checks it well and is consistent with their prices. first and last time I visit this restaurant and I hope this lady can get some training in how to treat customers and how to be the face of a restaurant.
Overpriced, poor service, and the food is not outstanding. If you’re just looking for some food to hit the spot, this will do.
Food is fresh and simply excellent. Best burritos that I ever had in my life. Hole in the wall. Don't go for pomp and show. For that, go across the street to get disappointed.
The service was nice, but more of a taqueria than restaurant style. You order your food at the register and they bring it to your table. My wife, father in law and I went for lunch/late breakfast. My father in law got his food first, then about 7 min later my wife, then approximately 7 minutes later I received my food. My father in law was finished with his meal before I even got mine. The tv was very loud and didnt do well for the ambiance. My father in law and wife thought their food was ok. I ordered an al pastor burrito, I was not impressed. The meat was very dry and mostly rice with no sign of cheese. We are from the valley and used to really good mexican food, maybe thats why I am less than impressed.
