Visiting Tahoe and our cousin came out to meet us for dinner. Misty was our server and was spot on with the vibe. Ordered drinks and appetizers and she also recommended a few. Drinks and appetizers came out quick. Cocktails were on point. Appetizers were solid. Dinner was good too. Will be coming back next time in Tahoe.

We wanted to partake in happy hour and have meal from regular menu but you can only get happy hour items in the lounge where you can also get regular menu items. We had the fried aji app which was very unusual and recommendable. We had the mixed seafood grill of which the scallops were the highlight, perfectly cooked and seasoned over the yummy risotto of which we could have had 3 times the amount. The shrimp were good but I did not care for the barramundi fish We added the jumbo blackened shrimp they were great Canât recommend the brussel sprouts, not crispy overcooked We had a bottle of our favorite pinot grigio from alto adige yay, their wine list was good and fair bottle prices.
We had a lovely evening at Kalaniâs. Our wait-staff, Anisha, was so attentive and provided great suggestions about the menu. The Halibut and Chilean Seabass were great. One of the best Dirty Martinis I have had. Only slight drawback was our table was near the door to the kitchen so it was quite noisy.
Food was great, cocktails were great, services was great. Would absolutely dine there again.

Pork belly was good. 4 small pieces for $15, Iâve seen chicken nuggets bigger than that.
We LOVE Kalaniâs and make a point to go there whenever weâre in South Lake Tahoe.
Great food. Great service. Nice outdoor table. We love this restaurant. Our favorite in S Lake Tahoe.
