Food was really good and fresh, close to how Mexican food tastes in Texas. 4 stars because bathroom was dirty. Would return next time in Tahoe.
Tacos were awesome! I Service was quick and the selection of sauces was great! Rice and beans were my favorite. Tasted similar to Texas rice and beans. I would definitely come back
I tried this place a few times, the food made me sick, literally! I ordered a super burrito and that should take at least 10mins to cook something fresh but my order was ready in 2mins, I was little nervous to eat it, it tasted old not fresh.. I took a friend to this place and we ordered our food a regular Nachos but was charged for a super and a burrito both made us sick! I will never eat here again, they lost 2. local customers!!
Food was good. Place is nice and has traditional decor. They have a nice fireplace. Service was okay, nothing extraordinary. Pricing is good.
Great prices and tons of flavor. The staff are friendly and efficient in their work. I just moved up to Tahoe from Southern CA and I am very used to having a ton of authentic Mexican restaurants to choose from. I am very happy to add Jalapeño's to that list! The street tacos are delicious with tons of meat options to choose from and the burritos are really filling.
Extensive menu. Larger size 'street' tacos. Excellent enchiladas. Great salsa bar selections. Friendly service.
This place is very good. I had the 3 rolled taquitos with beef and the other person had the grilled chicken super burrito. Both fresh and delicious. We did not have to wait long for our food and we sat outside because it was such a nice evening. The only knock on this place (which might not be a big deal to some people) is the decor inside is very dingy and old/cheap. They could do a better job on cleaning and out front too. Again, seemed very dingy.
These guys are great. Awesome friendly staff and the food is just as good. In my opinion it’s the best Mexican food in Tahoe. The girl cashier went out of her way to make sure everyone was accommodated. And I always look forward to saying hi to the older gentleman that works the cashier as well.
We stopped by here for a quick lunch. Plenty of free parking spaces. The menu is simple to order from and the cashier was friendly. They served our food quick with free chips and salsa.The decorations on the wall looks great too.
