Ernie's is our go--to place for breakfast every year during memorial day weekend, when we are visitors at Fallen Leaf Lake. Place is always jammed on that Friday a.m.. service is friendly & 100% competent, always. Ernie's is worth the wait....great short order cook presides! Stay safe, well & healthy, folks:. Placed a pickup order of a sandwich only! And it took them 45 mins to make it.When asked about it, everyone responded with different time frames. We clearly felt discriminated.DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE.Updated: Thank you Kent for acknowledging the fact that the service was slow. However please understand that I showed patience for 45 mins and everytime I asked for the order update I got a rude and cold reply from your staff. The reason why I had to write this post on discrimination is because when a “white customer“ asked the same staff replied politely and kindly to them. So please forgive me but I felt discriminated and I thought it is important for you to train your staff to treat all equally.There was one staff who did reply nicely but the other 3 staff members were cold and rude. Especially the person who was taking all the orders that day was very rude.

Incredible service and food. I don’t know how anybody rated them less than 5 full stars! Paul’s Classic omelette and French toast were just incredible—the taste was full and flavorful ?? cappuccino was legit too, now I know what a real cappuccino is!
Solid breakfast food. The sandwich and burrito are both great options when you're on the go. Crowded during the weekend, but never really had to wait for a table. Really friendly staff! Make sure you leave a good tip!

Excellent chicken friend steak, eggs were perfect and the fresh squeezed OJ was the best I have had in a while. Will definitely be back.
