We came here after a long visit to the DMV. The food was so delicious. We ordered the Oaxacan beef broth. The broth is the star of the show. It comes with pieces of super soft beef, fresh green beans, corn on the cob, and ziccini. The veggies were super fresh. They also gave us hand-made fresh tortillas. The tortillas were made to order and amazing. I got a taco de chorizo, it was great, not spicy just full of flavor. Last, we got a tostada de ceviche. I tend to stay away from seafood but my significant-other insisted that it was delicious so I tried it. He was right. Very fresh and very tasty.I would 100% eat here again. Great job!
What a gem! We had the crispy Tacos. They were delicious. Could of ate a few more as they are small-sized. The lady who took our order was super friendly. Definitely will go back again.
Super delicious!! Very authentic and not in the public eye. It was reccomend to us by our local friends and it did not disappoint! My favorite dish we got were the sopes but honestly you could order anything here and it'll be good.
The food is delicious They have authentic Mexican food. My favorite was pastor and chorizo tacos .
On the way out of Tahoe we stopped in and the food was good AF it felt like I was in my grandma's kitchen. Super authentic Mexican food. On weekends they do a birria plate that was bomb, and my lady had the pozole and loved it. Probably going to be the new go-to spot when wanting some good Mexican food.
Really great little Mexican restaurant just out of view of busy tourists. Come for the birrhia, the menudo, or the pozole on the weekends or any of the rest of their menu during the week. Fresh horchata, bottled Mexican Coke, and futbol on TV. Can't go wrong, and I also recommend the bar next door, great folks.
Average at best. My Chile Riano’s cheese taste like fish was on the grill. I didn’t want to taste of seafood on my chili Riano’s. The Chimi Chunga was four stars. Crispy and yummy.
The worst experience ever!!Order 3 burritos and one combo fajita to go.When I picked the food I ask for salsas she tried to give me ONE tiny cup for the whole order. I ask for 3 more and she give me actitud.Got home to find out that was no chips and no tortillas for the fajitas .Burritos were full of lettuce and beans, barely any meat.$51 wasted!!!
If you're looking for an actual authentic mexican food come here! Service is great and I think it's even better you get to see madre and papi cookin it up in the back!
Local here! Third time back this week. The food is outstandingly delicious. Super friendly family and spot on authentic. 10/10 recommended if you don't go here you're missing out!
