Food was not good. French toast was so dry. Potato pancake was way over cooked.

Use to go to the old location for years. Been a few years since we've been here and still as good as it always was. Everything on the menu is tasty, good size portions and a good value. Service is fast and friendly. Only downside with a place this good is there's always a wait. This time was less than 20 minutes so wasn't bad at all. Honestly, this place is worth the wait no matter how long. A breakfast must try the next time you're in South Lake Tahoe.
Convenient location to the gondola, very busy on a Sunday morning, but food and service were quick. Only eaten there once and we wanted to get on the slopes quickly. Mostly classic breakfast traditional food. They made us feel very welcome and I think every employee thanked us for dining with them and said goodbye and it felt genuine.
This is my go to breakfast spot when I am in Lake Tahoe, I always gwt the country fried steak. The wait be long but it's well worth it, call ahead.
Didn't get a chance to eat but stopped in for a breakfast drink- April's positive attitude and great service made my mountain vacation! Kudos to a staff that makes you feel welcome, food looked and smelled delicious

My boyfriend and I recently ate here for breakfast. We loved the Healthy Omelette so much, we returned the next morning! Our servers and hostess were all very friendly. I love the local vibe of the Cafe. We will return on our next Tahoe trip.
