This is quite possibly one of the nicest cafe/bookstore combos I've ever been to, and not just in the South Tahoe area!! This place has everything you need to go along with a good cup of coffee or tea. Good snacks, small bites, and pastries. Great eclectic selection of books, toys, and trinkets. Amazingly cozy reading nooks, dedicated workspace areas, and even a conference room. To top all that off, they're incredibly dog friendly too!
We made the decision to stop here instead of Starbucks on the way home to the Bay Area and this was such a good decision. They have a very big space, have a lot of books and also have goodies and Tahoe memorabilia on sale. They are dog friendly and they played with my dog and gave her water. The cappuccino and mocha were great and the croissant was soft. We will always be visiting here when we come to Tahoe going forward. This place is a must visit! :)
EstablishmentI went here to use their coworking space. Also take into consideration this was my first time ever doing that, but I really like this one. It’s a cozy space. When you first enter you will see the coffee shop/bookstore. It’s cozy. They have seats for you to enjoy your drink or food. Then they have two rooms that are separate from the rest of the coffee shop and that’s is the coworking space. They have a plant wall and lightning is pretty good. They have a lot of outlets and offer both regular or standing desks. There are 2 call booths (I think they are sounds proof) and then a small private room. Internet was good and I was opening huge files. Tools some time to open but nothing outside of ordinary.Minimum is $3 which covers an hour after that .75 cents per 15 min. You go check in at counter they give you a number and you start working. Technically it works like an open tab so you can order food/drinks and it gets added there. You pay all at the end.StaffVery friendly and welcomingFoodI only had a cream cheese bagel and cappuccino. Both were good.Overall good experience I would definitely recommend coworking here!
The coffee & Snax are excellent The couches are comfy. The Internet is fast. The staff are friendly and adorable. The co-working room is great & I've taken multiple job interviews from there. The only downside is there's cute local merch I want to buy (puzzles, stationery, mugs, stickers) but I won't fault them for that. Super grateful they're in SLT. *edit do not eat the lemon cookies you will be hooked*
Very friendly and nice staff, coffee is good, the place itself is super cute and has a Berkeley vibe to it. I wouldn’t get food here again though, the quiche is NOT an actual quiche, non of that buttery nice crust you would usually taste in one. It’s leaking flavor and honestly I’m not even sure what was in it but it wasn’t good. It comes by itself, no side salad or anything. I haven’t tried their baked good. But If someone found good food in Tahoe let me know because I haven’t found any. ?♀️Would come back for the vibe and coffee only. ???♂️
Fun cafe with lots of little gifts. Great mocha ☕️ and friendly staff, definitely worth stopping in.
The coffee is fantastic, but what really makes this place shine is the ambiance. There’s a suite of books and charming unique goods to peruse while you wait for your coffee. It would be a great spot to pick up a gift.Seating is nestled between the book shelves in the main space. There is also an adjacent open room with bunches of tables and outlets suited for those looking to work or study. The cherry on the top were the macaroons. We got vanilla and lavender. They were two of the best macaroons I’ve had in my like. Such a pleasant surprise!
Wow. My husband and I enjoy visiting coffee shops while traveling, and I like to think we've been in a few great ones. Cuppa Tahoe was a step above. The atmosphere was exactly what I look for in a coffee shop...cozy, inviting, and not too loud. Combining the coffee shop with a bookstore and using the shelves to create separate seating nooks was a wonderful touch. We didn't use the coworking area, but I could see doing so if we lived near here. Prices were fairly high, commensurate with the area. My drip coffee was good quality, and the lavender macaron I tried was superb.
Very warm ambience with books and coffee with excellent service! ??
This is the cutest coffee shop/book store I've ever been to. The folks that work here are super friendly and they provide great service. I've only tried their white mocha (very good btw) and their pastries are very good and fresh. What also differentiates them from other coffee spots is their co-working area. They have conference rooms and work stations you can rent, which is awesome if need a change of wfh scenery.
