Ordered hot chocolate… Received 2 cold chocolates? Then 20 minutes of awaiting turns out their machine was broken. Left with overpriced tea (they did not price adjust) and no customer service to speak of. Manager was rude and out of line - simply said “BYE” when we questioned the price for x2 teas that we got instead of hot chocolate. Weird vibes. Avoid this tourist trap.
My kids are big time nut allergy , the reason why I limit them to eat in places where nuts are being served. But with cold stone, they prepared it separately for zero contamination just mention it. Thank you so much ❤♥. My kids' joy is priceless. Kudos to all of you.
One of my most favorite ice-cream networks in the US, but unfortunately this particular place has really bad employees: very ineffective and even aggressive!E.g. last Saturday there was a girl who was arguing about a chocolate ice-cream with every 2nd customer and then a guy called James who blamed me for not being "fast enough".And once I mentioned to him that it's their staff who is not effective, he definitely lost his cool and even raised his voice on me...Then after some debate he became so aggressive that started to scream and didn't even allow me to pay for my ice-cream shouting: "go out of my place"!!!Definitely big questions to a manager of this place in terms of employee selection and training...
One of the 3 ice creams order yesterday, had two hairs in it. A long hair and a short hair. So gross. We just threw it away. Not one hair but two! Ewwww.
Doesn't deserve to be called a cold stone outlet. They din't even mix it properly.The extra star is just for the good ole Cold Stone taste.

My sister and I took our boys to this location for some ice cream last week. The "shift leader" Chris was rude from the minute we walked in until the time we left. He was rushing us to select our orders, making rude comments and was throwing things around with a negative attitude. My sister spoke with the store manager who at first just made excuses for him but then ended up apologizing for the bad experience and offered to give us free ice cream the next day. I would never take my kids there again, not even for free ice cream. You can be professional and keep the line moving at the same time. There is absolutely NO excuse for this behavior!I also want to mention that the 2 young ladies and young man working this same shift were very nice and and had great customer service skills.
The WORST experience ever on 11/20/21 !!!!!!! It was my 1st time to visit the village at Tahoe with my 5 year old and my baby it was very cold. And we saw that there were some tables with a small fireplace but the fire was turned off, Then I went and brought a hot chocolate from Cold Stone for my son and i ask if they could please turn on the fire for us please. But the cashier insisted to talk to me called the manager Derek to ask if he could turn the fire for us. And the manager Derek respond VERY RUDE unless you SPEND more the $15 he was going to turned on the fireplace otherwise NO.THE WORST COSTUMERS SERVICE!!!
