Excellent grilled shrimp pita, salad, and painkiller drink! Everyone in our part had a clean plate! Do wish they had a few more fire pits or heaters outside, but otherwise a great evening meal. The wait staff worked well as a team, nice to see
Food was fantastic, service and friendliness was amazing. Outdoor eating is a little less to be desired unless you're ok with the heavy traffic noise. There are about 3 picnic tables in the front and 3 behind a fenced enclosure in the back. Everything tasted amazing! They have two locations, this location is laid back and a little further from the busy part of the city, but still on the main drag. For the food we'll come again, for the ambiance we'll choose elsewhere.
We went here on a recommendation from friends and weren't disappointed! Sat outside and enjoyed the sun and breeze off the lake. You aren't right on the lakeshore but it is in view. I had the lamb gyro plate, which is better value than the gyro by itself. I ordered a small side of babaganoush that was really good and also better value than ordering the babaganoush as an appetizer. Lamb gyro plate included generouse portion of lamb, 3 pitas, greek salad, and a rich tzasitki full of feta was $15.95 (plus $2 for babaganoush) The lamb is SO delicious! Hubs had the mahi fish and chips and he said it was some of his favorite fish and chips in Tahoe. A well spiced and crispy batter on the fish and a paprika spice on the french fries too.$14.95 Friendly and attentive service. Only disappointment was the greek salad. Mostly romaine lettuce with few cucumbers and tomatoes and no kalamata, so not a classic greek salad, but tasty dressing.
Really good food. The place is kept clean. Our waiter had a broken arm but I am glad they still let him work and earn a pay. He had an interesting attitude. I think a different selection of soft drinks would be a great addition to this. Something basic and yet interesting like lemon water/ cucumber water. Ginger beer, lime soda, grapefruit soda etc.
Loved this restaurant! Delicious food, friendly staff, great vibe and nice location!We ordered falafel burger and falafel pita - both were delicious but I loved pita more!French fries were crispy and everything was fresh!They have a separate breakfast menu too. Would definitely recommend this place if you are in South Lake Tahoe!
The service was outstanding. Dylan was exceptional. We shared the large appetizer plate and was enough good for both of us. The baba ganouge, hummus, and tabouli were great. High recommendations.
Had the lettuce cups the other day and a cocktail for a quick dinner bite and was shocked at how delicious they were! Great drinks and great service. The view isn't too bad, either! :)
Good food with rich flavor and good service. And a big smile. The Artemis seasoning is really good, had to take some home.

Been visiting Artemis for many years. Food has always been good. This is our usual place for lunch while visiting Lake Tahoe. Last visit was no different, although Baklava could have been better.
