Being coming to this place for a minute now today new employees I guess I got the worst service.. I put my name on the list and waited to for 45 minutes saw people walking in and just sitting down so I ask the lady on the counter why there were thee big tables available and could not get any one of them she said there were people in front of waiting for tables there were none she was just lazy to clean them. Simply the need employees that care for customers.. this place let a party of 5 people go and definitely we are not coming back.
Pho is my favorite soup outside of bun bo hue. I was in the area for some errands and got hungry so found the Soup Shop on Yelp. I’m from OC and surrounded by an abundance of pho joints so having already tried their Anaheim location, I know what’s good and this place is bomb! I found out the sisters that own this place are actually from OC.I had the roasted cauliflower, elote and brisket pho with a rib bone add-on. Everything was delicious and had lots of flavor. You can taste the quality of their ingredients and their horchata is so yummy!The service was quick and efficient. The servers checked up on my table a couple times and made sure I had what I needed. The restaurant is clean and modern. I will be coming back if I’m ever in the area again!
Love love love it here! This is the best pho I've had. The beef broth is so rich in flavor and is very refreshing! Fresh bean sprout, veggies and chilies are provided to make the soup tastier. The soup is a bit pricey but it is SO worth it. The portion is big, you'll be very satisfied!
My wife and I like to explore to find restaurants near or depends travel to different area and find these restaurants try their cuisine. We travel to South Gate a friend of our recommended this restaurant it's a Vietnamese restaurant called Soup Shop. Asian cuisine like Vietnamese,Japanese,Chinese and Korean and other enthic are very popular with Latino enjoying good Asian cuisine but also springing up in Latinos community. The Soup Shop is a very popular with locals and others who come to visit the restaurant.We find a table right away then the waitress hand us a menu the we look what to order my wife decided to order the vegetarian p⁷ho and fried rice then I order the chicken pho and wings for appetizers. They brought the wings with garlic. Thev wings were cook perfectly and the garlic dipping sauce wereDelicious.. My chicken Pho was really good the broth was light and very favorable with spices and other ingredients I really enjoy it. My wife enjoy her Vegetarian pho she say the broth was ready rich flavors. The service was really good we need to comeback soon.
The service is always perfect whenever I treat myself to this trendy soup restaurant. Whether I feel like going out on the weekends or staying in with family, soup shop is always there for my food needs. The ingredients couldn’t be more fresh, everything is made to order and they greet me as soon as I enter. I love their drinks, hot or cold! I see them mix/pour it fresh when I’m there sometimes, the horchata pandan is a necessity when I go. No BS, soup shop is the best!
Stopped by at 11 pm before closing to try it out. We ordered the pho with egg rolls. They were both delicious. The customer service was also great. We ate at the restaurant and were helped by a lovely person. Would recommend this place for late night pho.
Omg. Tasty. Our Downey noodle place closed. Did a google search “Pho near me”. Drove here. Took it home. It was amazing
This was about to be a one-star review, until Noemi stepped in. I had placed my order at 3:30 PM for a 6:15 PM pick-up as I am a student and am on a strict schedule on Thursdays. I arrived at the soup shop around 6:30 PM after receiving the notification from Yelp stating my order was ready. When I arrived, I was told my order wasn't ready yet. I waited 10 minutes and was told by another employee it got "lost in the system" and had to be made, and that it would be another 25 minutes. I had asked to speak to a manager and was directed to the lead Noemi. After telling her what happened, she quickly turned everything around with her amazing customer service! She sympathized with me, apologized for the wait, and more importantly, made me feel like she actually cared about my issue. I came to understand her side as the restaurant was completely understaffed and working as hard as they could. One thing Noemi said to me in our conversation was that she "had to have her employees back". In having that kind of dedication to her team while maintaining top notch customer service by disarming the situation, Soup Shop has earned 5 stars from me. Of course the food is super good, but the level of customer service shown by Noemi will keep me coming back for more.
Bad service tonight. Went to dine in. Waited for the food for an hour. Food that never came. Staff insisted that we ordered food to go (despite clearly serving us utensils, service water and the plate of bean sprouts for the Pho). We reasoned that if we did order to go, then where was the to go food? Staff made no efforts to make reparations, but insisted that "the food is coming". Never came. And we left.
My experiece at soup Shop was exelent, i think this is the best Pho in town, food is delicious and hot, and the service is great, the only think im not happy with ,is the price on the soda can, is 4 dlls i think is over price for a can, thank you
