It was a warm evening in Sonoma so we chose to eat outside off the square. It was wonderful for people watching and cooling off.
The food was excellent as usual. Staff was friendly.

Our first time eating here will not be our last. We shared a wedge salad which was fresh and tasty-excellent buttermilk/bleu cheese dressing, and each had chicken piccata which was superior. The chicken was beyond tender. The entire meal was so very tasty and the service was solid. The only glitch was our order of two rolls was forgotten but they were not needed given the excellent meal.
We had a light lunch on a hot day. We sat inside but we might have been better sitting out on the street where there was a bit more of a breeze. The service was fine although the servers appeared to need more help. Reasonably priced for what we had.
ate lamb chops as a special for the evening, was wonderful!
We have always had great food and service here. Have been here about 10 times. Only concern is the wine prices are getting a little high. Would highly recommend
We ordered the New York steak (medium rare) and the salmon for lunch. The salmon was decent. The steak was a little tough and not medium rare. We were finishing up our meal when the waiter handed us the check as his shift was done. We added the tip within the bill. When he came back, he tossed our change on the table and left without so much as a “thank you”. In a nutshell? Mediocre food; bad experience no thanks to a surly waiter with a bad attitude.
We enjoyed the dining very much. The food, cheese board and entrees were great. It was wonderful to see Hector still there, he is the best. Greg
