My favorite place ever to go hands down. The drinks are incredible. Every time I go the owner makes me a special drink that tastes like an expression of my soul! It's seriously the best atmosphere, so peaceful, so lovely. Awesome card and board games there too
Was in Sonoma for my cousins wedding he lives in the area went here good local feel but also really incredible elevated cocktails. Highly recommend if you want something more local than touristy up there ??
Litterally best drinks in Sonoma. Up there with my other fav, Picaso Restaurant. Starling has been consistent with their attentive and Friendly staff, yummy bites, and phenomenal hand ctafted cocktails made with local ingredients.Sarah is fun, give her your choice of spirit and shell craft you the best drink you've ever had on the spot!
We went for the cocktails and wood-fired pizza and stayed for the awesome band playing on their back patio. Bartenders were cool and we never had to wait for a drink - had a great time.
I recommend this place as a local, don't order the 7$ nuts, but definitely order there cocktails. Sara makes a great unique cocktail every time.
Came for food around 8pm, but only bar snacks were available, unfortunately. Not many bar snack options if you’re vegetarian. But what I was truly disappointed with is that we were handed cookies that we didn’t order (rather they were offered) and later when the bill came, we were charged $13 for those two cookies. Felt taken advantage of, to be honest. Lesson learned, don’t accept the cookies lol.

I came in for a drink and was told (as per covid) " were only allowed to give drinks as long as you buy some food"... I went to town square, as well as steiners right after (local bars - with food) and was told that they didn't have the same requirements.It's funny because even though I did pay for a drink and food at starling, they didn't bring the chips I paid for, I had to go in and request for my chips and then got lectured by one of the servers/kicked out because I requested the chips I ordered. He started saying that I wasn't understanding even after I paid for (food) and my drink.Very confused on starlings rules and I doubt I'll be back any time soon, .. being a Sonoma local.Very very bad.
By far 'The Best Cocktail Bar' in town! -I live here and can honestly say that not many places can match what Starling offers. Besides the relaxed atmosphere inside and outside, they actually make Real Craft Cocktails! - Also, their wood fired thin based pizza is delicious! Few times a week they have life music, and what's very important - the staff and service is always impeccable! Absolutely Love this place!
