Four wineries were included in this tour. Our driver, Lexi, was very friendly and capable, and got us to each stop in a timely manner. The included lunch was a sandwich, chips, and gelato from VJB. The gelato was the best part. I would rather have had the pizza there, which looked really good. All in all, a great day!

The trolley was a great way to travel to the vineyards we visited. The web site is misleading as it states you will have 4 stops. We went to two wineries and the place we had lunch. The first winery was BJ Cohen and it amazing and the scenery was spectacular. We we stayed here for hour. The next stop was out lunch stop at VJB. Lunch was a sandwhich, scoop of potato salad, a bag of chips and a coupon for a free school of gellato. You had to buy your own drink whether that be wine, water or soda. We stayed at this stop 2 hours. Once you are done with lunch there is a very tiny vineyard to walk through and then absoultely nothing else to do but wait for the trolley. Our final stop was at Mayo and our server was hysterical. We stayed here for about an hour as well. We did not feel that this trip was worth the $125 and would not recommend it. You can have just as much fun just driving around and stopping at the wineries on your own.

The trip was definitely that, a trip. fun, great wine tastings, upbeat, great people and most of all, Lexi is to thank for her upbeat and super friendly and accommodating manners, great host. Will definitely do it again.

I had reserved this trolly in 2020, but had to cancel due to Covid. I am happy that the company extended my tickets for several years. Finally made it to Sonoma and booked our tour. It was a fun experience on the trolly. The driver was great, as was Mike (trainee) but the speakers were broken on the trolly so we only given a brief history before we left the Historic Sonoma square. On to the tastings. The first stop BR Chon was good. We were given our wine and a quick run down of the tasting notes. The grounds were beautiful and it was a pleasant experience. The second stop was VJB Winery. Again, beautiful setting but we were put up in a room with chips and an average panini sandwich. The tasting room we stopped at first for a glass pour no tasting available (they had 2 large tour busses and our trolly so OK I get it) but no one came to tell us about the winery, history or even the wine. I had to research the wine varietals on line during our lunch. The final stop was the best experience at Mayo Winery. We were given a great tasting, great info about the wine and even a little of the process of wine making. It was a good day overall ~ fun for us but we were disappointed with lunch.

Open air trolley was fun. We appreciated being able to postpone our trip due to a previous COVID exposure. But otherwise we were disappointed. The mic on the trolley didn’t work so there was no history/local insight shared. Two of the three wineries we visited just put the wine in front of us: no info about the wines…for a $25 pp tasting fee. Lunch for other patrons at JVB looked delicious. Ours was just an uninteresting panini with chips. Disappointing and an easy fix for the future. The last stop at Mayo Winery was amazing. They seemed to actually care. Was an uplifting way to end the trip.

We wanted to love this experience, but it wasn’t worth the cost. The trolley is cool, but the lunch and wine wasn’t great. You pay for all your tastings, which we knew, but the wines at some of vineyards weren’t great. Some wines we just dumped because couldn’t drink. We did meet some amazing people, which was a plus.I’d suggest saving your money and getting an Uber to take to vineyards!

If I could give this company less than 1 star, I would most definitely do so. I have never experienced such terrible customer service as I did with this company. By no other than the General Manager. His name is Mark. My party of 6 booked the Sonoma Wine Trolley over a month in advance. We are traveling from Florida and wanted to make sure our vacation was going to be seamless. Much to our dismay, Mark called, a week prior to our arrival, and informed us that he was cancelling our trolley booking due to a “transmission” issue and could not accommodate us. That was it. No let me see who I can call to assist you in booking another excursion. That’s right, we were on our own. He said he would send us a refund. It it could take up to a week. Gee, thanks.I called to speak to Mark and was greeted by a very nice and helpful individual named Sally. She was apologetic and sympathetic to our problem. She also informed me that there was no transmission issue, but a shortage of drivers. She told me she would call accounting and expedite our refund, if she could. I thanked her. When I called her back, Mark answered and was belligerent to me. Claiming to be doing everything he can possibly do to help us out as he was raising his voice and not letting me get a word in. This guy needs to go back to school and learn about a thing called customer service and courtesy. He must be related to the owner. I can’t possible fathom any other reason they would keep him in a position that involves customer relations.Book at your own risk when dealing with Napa and Sonoma Wine Trolley Tours!

Just took the trolley again and the service was great! Drivers are nice. It is easy to make reservation and even when I have a question they always are there with a solution or to address my needs

Decent wines and trolley was cute. Some of the people at the Vineyards were a little heavy on sales pitch and the driver wasn't the most knowledgeable (she was new though). Lunch was mediocre. All in all, not a bad experience, but probably will just catch Ubers to/from Vineyards next time.
