My wife and I love coming into the sonoma area and once visit we had lunch at the Eldorado Kitchen. Well, lucky for us there was wine tasting across the street!!!We sat outside because it was a nice cool day and sitting by the fire with some red wine sounded right up our alley. Our sommelier was very nice and informative and we both got a Reserve tasting flight. We both really liked their pinot's and their Genevieve varietal.If your ever in the area I would highly recommend stopping by. we went there on a weekday but I can see where they would be packed after normal business hours and on the weekends due to tourism travel so plan and make reservations accordingly!
Customer service is nice, laid back and a wonderful place to unwind. The tasting was nice, no pressure for anything… just sit back, learn and enjoy. We ended up LOVING the reserve Merlot. It’s not a typical Merlot, more Jammie on the front and juicy at the finish, but deep and rich in character along the journey.
We are almost positive they served us old wine. We are not big Pinot drinkers and we had already been to a couple tastings, so at first we just thought we didn’t like it, but then I noticed the brown tint to the wine after most of it was gone… I was sick later that night! I did give it two stars because the other wines were good, the tasting was affordable, and the atmosphere is fun. But definitely be aware!
Let’s talk about this wonderful place. It was our first stop during our visit to Downtown Sonoma. What a terrific start. I cannot say enough great things about our experience here. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️The ambiance is a 10. Heaven on earth.The Service a 10. (Even during peak time)Nicki Crozier gave 100% to a full house. A true professional, thoughtful and knowledgeable.The wine was phenomenal and we bought our faves to take back home to Michigan. A must stop during your travels.

A great place for an afternoon tasting. The manager, Sean, was incredibly helpful and made outstanding recommendations. Try the Roses! Highly recommended for a relaxing couple of hours.
