The owner always has a smile on her face she's always so nice. Love the food everything is delicious. My favorites are the bowl of wonton soup... I also love the almond chicken

When I come to Sonoma, I always make sure I get some of Happy Garden's large, homemade pot stickers. You can't find better pot stickers anywhere. Their Kung Pao Chicken is great too!
The house rice and house chowmain is just to die for I took them to a pot luck and my coworkers are still asking for more the people that work there are friendly nice people
Great fried rice. General chicken was dry but still edible. Price was average for descent chinese food. Wonton soup felt like it was frozen wontons.

I'm always looking for a Chinese restaurant that is laid out like the ones I was used to growing up in San Francisco. Lately, all you seem to find are the quick take out type, storefront "restaurants" where the cooks have three woks going in the back and they just throw the food together and shove it to you in take out containers. The Happy Garden is NOT like that. They actually have tables and bring the food to your table on plates. I ordered pot stickers and Kung Pao Chicken. The Pot stickers were home made and served witha home made chili sauce. The Kung Pao had large pieces of chicken and a good assortment of chunky cut vegetables - Like it's supposed to be! The only thing that could have been better was that the Kung Pao wasn't as spicy as I like, but the home made pot-stickers more than made up for it. If you want good Chinese food at a fair price....THIS is the place for you!
