We waited for more than 1 hour for our order to come to our table. On top of it they never brought out one dish that we had already paid up front. Terrible service
One of the best experiences I've had. The portions are huge. You can taste some of the spices that are used to season the mole, but they aren't over powering. The outdoor seating is nice. And they just come out and bring you your order. 10/10 try again.
This hole in the wall was our first stop in wine country and was definitely one of the most memorable. As lovers of Mexican food we were blow away! If you’re reading this review stop reading and just come. You won’t be disappointed!
Really good. Would eat here more often if the trip allowed for it. Everything is fresh, flavorful, cooked to order.
Whenever we come to Sonoma to visit family, we order from El Molino Central. It’s a real treat as Mexican food in the Northeast just can’t compare. We love their mole dishes, fish tacos and chicken enchilada suizas, but frankly everything we’ve had there is delicious. If you like Mexican food, this is a “must” when visiting the Sonoma area.
This was the perfect place to cap off a fabulous day of wine tasting. The service was fast and friendly, the food fresh and flavorful and not your run of the mill tacos and burritos. The fish tacos were tasty and full of fish, but our favorite was the butternut squash and caramelized onion enchiladas—-AMAZING!! An easy stop on the way or or from Sonoma. Loved it!
Looking at multiple review sites, this seemed like one to check out. that was a good move! A short drive from where we were staying in Sonoma, about a mile and a half from the square. Did not quite realize, it really is take out. But take out with a bunch of outdoor tables of various description, covered, portable heaters, picnic tables, etc. Service very efficient. We ordered the mole enchilada dish, enchilada seizes and fish tacos. Mole the boss, maybe best in memory, and I try quite a few! Green enchiladas, same, hitting WAY above any takeout anywhere....Fish tacos, very good but maybe a notch or two below there rest. Recommendation, if in the area you should try, it is 5 stars on a four star scale! Have fun!
We have always wanted to stop, but usually on our way somewhere. Today coming home we decided to stop for lunch. The food was delicious and reasonable. I had 2 Butternut Squash with caramelized onions and white cheddar enchiladas, creamy salsa Verde, black beans, avacado & pickled cabbage relish. It was beyond delicious and a very large portion. My partner had 3 Yucatecan pork panuchos; bean filled crisp tortillas, slice of egg, topped with Seville orange marinated pork & citrus habanero onions. Said it was delicious. We each had a beer. We were so glad we stopped. The best authentic Hispanic food ever. We have a new favorite place, we'll be back.
Great customer service and quality ingredients contribute to the best chilaquiles and tamales I've had!
Everything that we tried here was delicious. The tacos al pastor had amazing flavor and the tomatillo on the pork tamales was outstanding. Their guacamole was also some of the best that I have had. While we were ordering, you could see that everything was being prepared by hand, and how much time was going into each dish. The outdoor seating area was well kept and warm. We would definitely eat here again.
