The seafood paella was as amazing as everyone told us it would be!!! Our waiter Sam was amazing and it was fun to watch all the staff work so well together because we sat near the kitchen and were really impressed.
Hue is Rancheros was different but very delicious
We live a few blocks from EDK, so we go there often. The last time we were at EDK was pre-pandemic 2019. Tonight meal (7/16/2022) at EDK was horrible. What happened?! Maybe all the original cooks and staff left during the pandemic? The salmon was overcooked, paella was undercooked, famous truffle fries were mediocre, they forgot to bring our appetizers until I asked, inattentive (but nice) service staff. I hope the situation gets rectified. I cannot recommend EDK to visitors anymore. It's shameful cooking and output from a once-great restaurant.
El Dorado Kitchen is a must. We come here everyone we are in Sonoma. Daniel is an excellent server and provides us with excellent recommendations.
Food was delicious and the sommelier made a terrific wine recommendation. We sat closer to the open kitchen and the noise levels there were out of control. Perhaps if dining farther away from the kitchen the noise wouldnât be an issue. Our server was ok, she wasnât as attentive as we expected her to be at such a prestigious restaurant. Water glasses were empty for long periods, and she never followed up with us to make sure everything was as expected or if we needed anything else after we received our dinners. We waited a while for our server to circle back to us in order to request second bottle of wine.
Great food, lots of great selections from vegeterian to pasta to meat dishes. Service was amazing.
Absolutely amazing every time. EDK has great hand-crafted cocktails and even better food. The seafood paella was savory and authentic in its simplicity and perfectly balanced flavors. A true stand-out in the Sonoma culinary scene!
