I joined a large group here for the celebration and we definitely kept our waitress looking forward with drinks etc. My husband and I are big drinkers but found they definitely needed some sort of "doctoring" that our waitress was more than happy to bring us extra lime juice and a sour concoction. The pizzas were amazing and everyone had a great time. My group kept wanting to come back while we were still in town but didn't get to make it. This place is in the list of favorites when we returned here.
Quick and very good. Great flavor! It was crowded and pretty noisy. It was tough to get a seat but worth the wait. Great experience.
I really enjoyed Toppers. The Pizza was excellent across the many variations my family and I ordered; my favorite was the BBQ Chicken. Salad bar was also great. Will definitely repeat the experience.
Tried vegetarian pizza with fresh toppings and nicely baked crust. Loved it! (5 stars for that)Also tried vegetarian sandwich here, which was ? but tasted better with side dip/sauce (I guess it was mustard ranch).Overall a good experience ??
Toppers is honestly some of the best pizza I’ve ever had. Definitely the best pizza you will get on the area. It is more pricey than places like Domino’s or Little Caesars obviously, but well worth it. The pizza is very fresh and if you like well-done and crispy crust they are fantastic. They don’t skimp on toppings and the flavor is delicious. Highly recommend this place.
Its toppers, you cant go wrong. There pizza is very yummy. I would also recommend the garlic bread sticks they are soft and really yummy. Nice atmosphere. They usually have some sort of sport on the TVs. There is also an outdoor seating area with heaters. They have a salad bar on offer aswell. I would recommend trying something new every time you go. They have many different base sauces and so many toppings to choose from.
2022.01-14/FRI_1000: A group of friends invited us to eat dinner with them after a good session of bowling. They invited us to Toppers Pizza. Being that we have many dietary restrictions - we don't tell our friends and just learned to deal with it when we get to our destination. It is simple when you have food allergies-you eat it or your throat closes up. So don't eat it.Anyway. They ordered some Garlic Breadsticks, a Pepperoni and Bacon Pizza, Jalapeno Poppers and a Combination Pizza. The Garlic Breadsticks have cheese on them and appear to be fresh baked. I had a piece of it and the flavor was good. A good balance of garlic butter and salt. They were better than another commercial Italian restaurant I've been to in my lifetime. They serve them with ranch and marinara. The bread is actually fluffy and nothing like the standard, dense Oive Garden breadstick.The Jalapeno Poppers were a hit for me. First off, they were cream cheese and not cheddar cheese. Score! They were also baked and not fried. Another point! They were delicious. They did not have any type of breading at all. Just let me explain. They literally are jalapenos cut in half lengthwise. The jalapenos were filled with cream cheese and topped with crispy bacon and baked. Delicious and perfect.We got the Combination Pizza with no pizza sauce and had it made with a creamy garlic sauce instead. We were impressed with the quality of the food being that it's not your local Italian mom and pop joint. The bread and crust were good. It was cooked to perfection. The pictures are pretty spot on when it comes to texture. The toppings and cheese were fresh, nothing like what we expected. We really had no complaints. The garlic sauce used in the pizza was flavorful and the amount of toppings were excellent, too. All of it was great!The salad bar was always kept up and cleaned. The soda fountain was also clean and organized at all times. Like I said, no complaints for this establishment!The ambiance here was very family oriented and there were many teens. The staff they have working at this location is great. They are very courteous, friendly and professional especially with the type of crowd they bring in. We loved that. There were young staff members and they were professional with the young crowd. Fantastic. We loved the staff, food and clean environment and we would dine here again.
I am very happy with the food Toppers is doing. I have only ordered food for delivery from them, but it has always been timely and warm. Toppers puts together a great pizza, and their jalapeno poppers are great as well. I highly recommend them.
Best pizza in the Ventura area for sure. Fun to dine in too. They have beer by the pitcher if you're into that. Salad bar is great.
We have really loved toppers pizza for years but the last few times we have ordered have been not great. We ordered last week and the crust on the edges was over lapped and pretty thick. The pizza did not have the bubbling and crisp edge it normally has. We gave it another try last night and the consistency between the middle of the pizza to the edge was not right. It went from to thick to to super thin. Not to mention that the edges of the pizza were burnt. The. Prices have gone way up and the quality has gone way down. I am super disappointed because toppers has been a staple in my house for a long time.
