Best chili cheese fries with pastrami portions are big very very tasty very good I'm quite pleased with the food good job the Hat
The pastrami is good. It's $12 but it's decent? The Pastrami, Chili Cheese Fries, that's another story. I DO NOT recommend them at ALL!!! Why you ask? Well, they plain and simple F U in A HOLE everytime you get them!!! They charge you like &15 for them and give you LITTLE amounts of Pastrami and Chili each time at EVERY of THEIR locations!!! Not COOL!
I always enjoy going to the hat it’s a special treat for me. This time I ordered a double cheeseburger extra onion no lettuce. I’m sad to say that the bun was hard, it looked like the cheese was melted at one point but it was old so it was hard also. There was no extra onion on the burger and was just dried out. So so disappointed.
3 words. Chili. Cheese. Fries. Get extra cheese. It's totally worth it. We love this place. Eat inside and enjoy the scenery. It feels like stepping into a time capsule during an era when times were fun and easy going.
In town for a couple months, just before leaving, my friend says I need to try before I go home. I look at the menu, and it looks like a million diners I have been before. However, it is unique. I loved it. I will be back when I come back!
I have been going to the hat for over 50 years eating that yummy pastrami. I was a little disappointed. This was the first time in 50 years that my bun was not dipped. The dip is half of what makes it so good I'm sure next time it will be fine.
Pastrami dip is what they're known for. Get an order of chili cheese fries if dining in. Even their grilled chesse snadwich is good.
You can't go wrong with a classic pastrami. The onion rings are also amazing. They definitely give you a good amount (unlike some places where an order is like 8 rings). They used to fill the bag when it was a large order but sadly those days are gone. On the bright side, it's still a pretty good deal so I'm not going to dock them for that.Everyone is always friendly & the food always tastes great. The Pina Colada Bang & Orange Bang drinks are delicious. I have never had anything like them in any other establishment so it's definitely worth trying!
You know, a little on the greasy side, really filling and just kind of so-so here at the orange bang was good but the pastrami sandwiches just kind of blah. Quick Service, my staff, clean tables and you can eat inside or out. Not bad if you really hungry and want something different on the go.
We've been to the hat several times and are always extremely happy with the food. The pastrami sandwiches are so good, we never order anything else on the menu. Except their onion rings! So yummy.
