Night after night, unmistakably, this place is very crowded, patient who waited their turn in a crowd. The hotel only occupies a few standing nightstands and a small patio space with outdoor heaters if you feel like dining al fresco on a smarter LA night. The scents are subtle and divine, the portions are reasonably sized and the staff is attentive. Not a good place for a large size group as the size of the dining room will make you feel like you have limited smidge.
The Canteen Burger was easily the best burger I’ve ever had in my life. Hands down the freshest and tastiest ingredients anywhere. Can’t recommend this place enough.

Only appetizers now. The kitchen staff walked out and left just the owner/manager to cook. That was previous to our visit. The food was good, and the service excellent. Nice place to nibble on appetizers.

Great atmosphere and good drinks. Staff is great. Small menu though with nothing spectacular on menu but the cauliflower appetizer. Used to have more options but Covid probably nixed many things so they can stay a float. Definitely recommend our neighborhood hangout.
