We always drive by this location and decided to give Sutter Mill a try. The interior resembles a time capsule from possibly the prohibition era. We were seated in the back area and the room seemed so private. It was nice to enjoy a really great dinner with my husband in such an intimate setting. The food was good and the service was excellent.
There were 6 of us celebrating Mothers Day and hubby's 84th Birthday. Both service AND food was excellent ?. Will be back!
Fabulous food at a decent price. I had the filet mignon and was very pleased. Pretty busy for five o'clock on a weekday, but worth it.
Just simple and delicious. Love the old vibes style. Generous portions and great service. I love living so close by to this un assuming gem of a restaurant
They're doing a great job on limited resources. The salmon was pretty good, the shrimp cocktail was tasty and the service was excellent. I've also had very nice steaks here in the past.It's a nice little local place that is obviously loved by the people in Simi...judging by how busy it was on Wednesday night.
The atmosphere is classic steakhouse, with a modern menu. Portions and service are above average, there are high end items as well as affordable burgers. Extra little details are nice and classy.
My wife and I stopped here for a steak while visiting LA. The atmosphere here is great - music quiet enough to muffle the conversations of others, but not too loud to interfere with your own. The dinners are reasonably priced and include salad and potato. Service was wonderful. Definitely a place to return to.
Found this on a Google search looking for a reasonably priced meal with a steak in Simi Valley. Turned out to be a great surprise. People there were very personable from customers while waiting for our table to the one of the best waiters ever. Food was generous and cooked correctly. Very busy place, but it didn't effect service. Loved the tribute table to the fallen military as you enter restaurant. All food was good considering the reasonable prices. We would definitely visit this place again.
The food is extremely amazing at a reasonable price. Loved it. Excellent prime rib, rib eye steak and a heavenly delicious lobster.The service and the staff was wonderful as well.
First time for my wife and I at Sutter's Mill. I had the top sirloin, wife had prime rib. Dinner was great as were the cocktails and service. Like this place. We will return.
