One of the worst experiences I had with a low-mid quality dinner.At first, I was waiting 10min to sit (came by myself), while the restaurant isn't that full, probably lack of staff.And than , the only shining point of this awful restaurant was the waiter.She came really quick and was super friendly.I ordered a gourmet burger without cheese, and she asked how do I like my meat.I asked for medium and the meat came well done.She saw my frustrated facial expression and immediately asked me what is wrong.I showed her the meat that I got.It supposed to be red, but it was pretty much white like a well done cooked burger look like.My side was a sweet potato fries, which was soggy , obviously they have been under fried so she took the entire plate back to get a complete new order.The new plate came with no surprises, same exact type of problem.I wanna know why do you even ask how yo cook the meat if you can't do nothing but well done.And for the fries? Try a little bit more time in the oil, and try maybe fresh oil, it can add to the flavor.The only good thing about the restaurant was the waiter, she was awesome.I literally tipped her more than my entire bill.The food is awful, I strongly recommend you all to eat fast food than that.And for the guest relation service, do not comment here, don't waste your time, invest your time to find more staff to make the waiting experience more pleasant than try to give customers compensation.Your food is horrible guys, and you are restaurant.Total experience was 2/5 and that's only because of that waiter.
Used to go here a lot and loved it but it just didn’t feel the same. Pricing is average, nothing special but the drinks (like the lemonades) are overpriced for what they are. The food was okay, but the burger patties were very bland and the fries were a bit soft. Had to ask for drink refills and was also not offered more fries. Overall experience for the total bill, too much. Would we go again, possibly but not a first choice.
We had to eat here during our trip because it is very famous. I do not know why. I had to wait for a free table. The service was bad. Noisy. Ordered a hamburger and it came with a small salad. The salad was pretty good, or maybe that I was just hungry. I was so disappointed with the burger. Meat tastes so artificial to me; Dry plastic. I don't know how else to explain it. It was pretty terrible. Couldn't even eat it. The place was too expensive for burgers. Waste of money. Much better places to eat.
First, I haven’t been to a Red Robin in a couple of years. We decided to try the RR at Simi Valley. We waited at the front for several minutes for the hostess to arrive, almost to the point my wife wanted to walk out. The waiter was pleasant and took our order. The food was poor. The ingredients RR uses to create their burgers is spot on. The food was warm at best, like heat lamp warm, maybe 60 watt light warm. The meat obviously is not freshly grilled, it has to be a pre-made just warm on the grill patty. It ruined the entire meal. Look, if “In and Out” fast food has a better tasting meat product than your $15.00 gourmet burger, your doing something wrong, fix it. The waiter seemed preoccupied with the other two tables at this station rather than us. I had to yell to get his attention to get a place setting, ice tea and napkins, after our food was delivered. If you are the General Manager reading this, fire who ever you have running the floor, establish solid customer service training with your workers and conduct blind inspections and have under cover customers evaluate the food and service. Otherwise run it as a Jr and Sr High School hangout and forget the food quality and service. But, you lost me I will not be back the 5 Stars on this page is BS.
The food was good and brought to our table hot and fresh. The amount of food was well worth the price we paid. The host staff could have been a little more personal but I am sure it can sometimes be difficult when you have to deal with rude customers. Our waiter was fantastic! We stopped in for lunch after visiting a museum nearby and he was helpful with the menu items. After our meal he even sketched a quick portrait of my daughter and I for my mom. It really made her day.
The is just average. Foods is good. Service is excellent ?
I love this place with bottomless french fries and refills on your drinks. The burgers are bomb. The service is hit and miss, last weekend went there service wasn't so good but the time before that was great.
Got the cheesy bacon fondue burger and it was really tasty. I really recommend it. However, the steak fries seemed pretty old so that could have been better. I will probably give it a second try since the burger was delicious.
Elvis took care of us and made date night so special. The service was awesome, the food was tasty, and we got a pretty cool drawing at the end of the night. Definitely coming back and hopefully we get a table in his section again! ❤Thank you Elvis for reminding us crazy parents to have date night more often. The picture is hanging on our fridge.
Elvis was an amazing waiter! He was very enthusiastic and did an amazing job at entertaining all of us during my sister's boyfriend's birthday! He is also a wonderful artist and drew amazing pictures of each table at the restaurant.
