Below average service. They randomly close the dining room because they are "short staffed" but that doesn't happen at the Del Taco across the street. Or Panera. Or Wabu so give me a break. I thought McDonald's was king of franchises but apparently not. Food quality is good here so this isn't a hatchet job and the regular staff is good. Managers that are there off the clock need to keep their voices down because guess what, we can here you talking shlt about employees and just because you aren't in uniform doesn't mean we don't recognize you. Blowing off steam is normal but within earshot on the premises is unprofessional.
They always close 5-10 minutes before they are supposed to close. I literally caught them closing the drive thru one night and I said wait I still have 8 minutes. He told me sorry there's nothing he can fo because they already started to clean the kitchen..I've been a manager for taco bell and I can tell you, that shift lead or manager that allowed that should be getting in pretty big trouble. Went there again last night and this time I was 10 minutes early before closing and the cones were already out in the drivethru. Never going to this one again. They are straight up lazy and unreliable on when they actually close. Mind you they are usually 5 minutes late to open as well. Any other McDonald's in simi is better has better customer service and opens and closes when they are supposed to.
Before I begin, I want to give a shoutout to Maureen, Dustin, and Lauren. Maureen was such a sweetheart, keeping the restaurant clean, asking how I was and if everything's ok. Dustin also asked me how everything was, he then proceeded to help a customer whom seemed to have a problem understanding soft drinks, but he was calm and collective and handled everything with a smile on both sides. I give Lauren credit not just for her friendly and sociable demeanor but as someone with prior managerial experience; I know that providing a friendly, safe, clean and efficient workplace starts with management and she has done extremely well in that aspect. I could hear just about all the staff going on about their day and duties and everyone had a great upbeat attitude, even while it was getting very busy. The restaurant was clean, the food came out quickly and with a smile, everything was cooked perfectly. I took a moment to tell Lauren in person how amazed I was with this restaurant, I felt compelled to do so. I hope Maureen, Dustin and Lauren receive some kind of recognition, because they absolutely make this Simi location shine. Thank you, I look forward to next visit.
Why is it closed during normal operating hours according to the hours displayed on the door, due to that drive through lane is super long
So today we went to McDonald’s on galena for a late night rondeau, and damn to surprise they have a laaarge ice cream cone, there is a guy there that goes by the homie Kyle, he deserves a raise as big as my ice cream cone was, if he was my employee I would make an ice cream manager position just for him. P.s. thank you homie Kyle the future I’ve cream manager
This McDonald's is the most consistently awful McDonald's I have ever been to. If you order from the drive thru double check your order before driving away 90 percent chance something will be missing. If you order thru uber eats there will be a 98 percent chance something is missing or you will just completely get someone else's order. The last 10 times I have ordered from them my order has been screwed up. The worst example was a few weeks ago I ordered nuggets fries a burger and a soda at 2 p.m. what shows up a large coffee and 2 blueberry muffins it's pathetic how bad they are. This wasn't even the first time they sent me someone else's food once they gave me the wrong bag in the drive thru and even that order was missing items .
Horrible wait time! After ordering still had to wait 15 minutes for a chicken nugget meal.
I order two filet of fish. i got two sandwiches with no tarter sauce. I called to speak to the manager told me they don't take orders on the phone. I told him I brought it brought two filet of fish. Mo tarter ssuce...he hang up the phone. I try calling him again. The voice message they are not accepting your call. Excuse ME. I stop at McDonald's on my WAY HOME. Means I was going to stay home once I got there. I had no intention of going out again. Thats the reason I stop to get two filet of fish for my dinner. Up until that time I've been running errands and haven't eaten anything all dsu. This is terrible. I'm not going to eat dry up filet of fish sandwiches. I don't have tarter sauce her at home. plus I paid to have filet of fish sandwiches as they advertise. WITH TARTER SAUCE. I want someone to acknowledge and to make it up to my satisfaction.
