I been going here for 10+ years ... Recently moved back from being in another country for 4 yrs. did a delivery for here for UberEATS I was ignored forever multiple times a workers passes by me without knowledging me no hi or I'll be right with youI came back today with my 15yr old son for lunch there prices always be close to half of the dinner price it was almost $30 or more for per person for lunch. I compared it to the dinner menu it was $3-9 higher of a difference we walked out and went to reds bbq for lunch reds bbq was a lot of food and delicious! very disappointed with Ken of Japan reading reviews about being ignored and being Treated poorly and the SUPER high food price rise I get it if they rise it by $5 or more or whatever everywhere is but it was too much for me for a " lunch special "

We went to Ken of Japan to celebrate a birthday and left regretting the decision to waste our money here. The food was good, but not worth the lack of service. Our waiter whom we later found out is the owner was very rude and completely lacks any customer service. He rushed us through service and made us feel very unwelcome. We would have stayed and ordered dessert and more drinks, but not after our interaction with him. He did nothing to acknowledge our celebration. We asked the staff when leaving what’s going on with him and they all said that he’s always rude like that. We will definitely never be back!
I made a reservation for 6 pm. I called the restaurant 15 min before to let them know we were running 5 if we could move to 615. Once we arrived, we were gaslighted and told I didn't talk to anyone. We walked out.
The service is terrible. The hostess didn’t acknowledge our presence for several minutes, and the other host crossed our reservation while we were waiting for service, then gave someone our table. He was very rude and denied that we were waiting.
Me and my friend came in and had an awful experience. Not only was the food not good but neither was the customer service. The cook had am awful attitude and then management was mad because we were disappointed. He did take the charge off. But never will I go to Ken of Japan again. Not recommended.
An amazing experience, our hibachi chef Fernando kept us entertained the entire time. Most certainly would come back!

Service was just OK. Chef was good and polite. The food was satisfactory. Don't order the beef. I've tried several cuts and always comes out tough. Don't think they use quality beef.
I ordered Shrimp with vegetable. The food was so salty. Next morning, my blood pressure went up to 188. I woke up with a bad headache. Terrible food!!! Someone must poured tons of salt and soy sauce in it. They should be careful what they are doing...
