Delicious food and unique classic atmosphere. Great service who goes above and beyond to make us feel special as they knew it was our honeymoon when the manager came with a personalized greeting card. We had a three week honeymoon and ate at many restaurants and I still think about the food I ate there (and we live in Brooklyn so it's hard to surprise us with Italian!).
My wife and I have dined here four or five times in the past two months and each and every time we are amazed at how good everything is. We started small with the bowls, but by the time we added the worlds best macaroni salad and other extras, the pricing was close to their platters. The bowls are very good for lighter eaters, and the way they make them just as you like is fantastic. Try one, you won't be disapointed. Hint: The STEAK Rocks! The pulled pork was better than what we had on Maui or Kauai, and we had a few Luau's on that trip. Their chicken is not bad either. Ask for all four sauces on the side to find out your personal favorite, you can thank us later.We've been getting the surf and turf platter on the last two visits. Their steak is wonderful and the shrimp is, well its really great as well. We both recommend the spicy teriyaki sauce if you like a little bit of heat, then again I add Sriracha to everything and they have a dispenser for that by the drink station; soy sauce too. Oh and its a serve yourself beverage bar, not sure what all is there, I only drink unsweetened iced tea, and theirs is very refreshing.The place has always been clean when we've been there, but sometimes if they're very busy, a table might not get bussed and spritzed right away after a part leaves. They will get caught up as best they can, so no worries. All in all, a very nice place to get something a little out of the ordinary for a quick bite; we love the FIRE ISLAND GRILL.

Food was delicious, their mac salad is a favorite to my wife that is picky. Their chocolate macadamian cookies are amazing too. All I wish for for this restaurant is to serve better fish, talapia isn’t a quality fish. They should sell Hawaiian Style Poke and Tuna. It’s more fitting and appropriate then the not so exciting talapia. Anyways the food I had was the Fire Island Bowl with island rice, char-grilled chicken, veggies, pineapple teriyaki topping and all the seasonings. Another sauce that made it great was the Thai-peanut sauce. This bowl is worth returning for and I’m happy we ran into this place after visiting the Ronald Reagan Presidential Library.

When you order make sure you check the ordering steps to prevent holding the line, thw fact that the server is wearinf mask will make communicating a litttle bit of a challenge. Over all , ita a good place to try.
The wife and I love this place. Plenty big enough portions and everything is good. We drive from Chatsworth to have lunch on the weekends.
