Great service and food and all

My friend & I had a late lunch here. We both liked the look of the restaurant & the bar is cool for drinks & watching a game.We were seated quickly & our order was taken in a timely manner. However, our food arrived noticeably later than those of patrons who were seated & ordered well after us. My tostada salad was tasty & the grilled shrimp were perfectly prepared but it was a bit small. My friend's cheese enchiladas had a sauce which was slightly burnt & the rice & beans had a strange flavor. We drive by this location everyday & the parking lot is busy so we had high hopes for a delicious meal at a place we could frequent & enjoy a tasty meal several times a month. Based on first impressions, that won't happen.

Very, very good Mexican food. Nice atmosphere out on the patio. Friday night happy hour was fairly busy but worth the wait.

Visiting from out of town. Looked up what was around and came across this restaurant. Food was delicious. Service was equally as good. Highly recommend.

We had the brunch buffet & sat outside with our 5m old twins! It was perfect & delicious!! Definitely will be back!

We usually get the family meal to go but tonight we had the pleasure of just the hubby and I dining in. Service was quick and friendly and food was beyond fantastic. Enchiladas are always so warm with the perfect amount of sauce. The shredded beef crispy taco added just enough fresh crunch to the combination plate. We will definitely be dining in again!

Excellent food in a friendly atmosphere. Host or hostess is always welcoming and the owner/manager is super-accommodating - she goes out of her way to ensure you are enjoying your meal and appreciates everyone. Full bar, ample margaritas options, and some of the best chips and salsa in town. Ask for the Diablo salsa for an extra kick.

Finally tried this place after living in Simi for a year. It is a very nice place with a great atmosphere but that’s about it. The food was unimpressive. Extremely over priced. Bland, no flavor at all. My dinner guest had questions about the meal she was interested in before ordering. When her meal came out it was not as described by the waitress. She asked to send it back only to be confronted by a manager who kept saying “You ordered it”. They finally exchanged it but never came back to our table except to leave the bill.

The 4 of us were excited to try this Mexican grill. The atmosphere and the service were excellent. The food however was a tremendous disappointment--especially for the price. The molcajete for 2 had TINY octopus, 2 scallops 6 shrimp and a slew of tiny chewy calamari. Our friends dishes weren't much better. The whole snapper was very thin and bony and the plate of scallops had 3 with the requisite rice and beans. All in all the guacamole was the best thing on the table and we paid $180.00 for 4 mediocre dishes plus guacamole and bean dip. Nope.PS The Molcajete broth was fantastic! Took that home to make my own paella :-)

DON’T EAT HERE!!! I just ate here just now and found 2 hairs in our food, one in our salsa that was long and one is my sour cream. I managed to get a picture from the sour cream. The manager keep saying it wasn’t a hair but when I asked him what it was he said idk. Not eating there ever again, also really rude.
