WORST SERVICE EVER!!!!! The waitress was rude and actually yelled at my mother as well as the cook infront of the whole place. All the cook did was hand my mom an extra plate and she flipped! Not only that but the proceeded to yell at my mom because her foot was crossing the line that divided the bar from the seating place. What kind of service is this????!!!!!!!! Only good thing about this place was the music. Other than that this place sucks! I will be placing a call today to speak with the manager. Cant leave a lower rating than 1 star...otherwise I would!
Love the chips & salsa....but I can't say I've had anything I didn't like!

Not sure if it was a bad day or if the food is bad all the time. I've eaten at Chuy's restaurants from Tucson m, AZ to Santa Clarita, never experienced icky food. The staff was pleasant and thoughtful.

I have been to this place 3 times and the last time, some months ago, it was not good. The refried beans were past their time. I asked for sour cream and they gave me a small spoon for $1.00. The rice was dry, the chicken enchiladas were also dry, with little chicken. I was hungry so I ate the meal, but not going back to any Chuy's again. The one by First Ave. serves oily food. IMHO, if you like gourmet food Chuy's is not the place.
This place has a mix of good and bad. Chuys has been around for as long as I can remember and the art on the outside and inside truly are nostalgic.I will do a pros and consPros- Drinks are the way to go here. A good amount of beer and drinks to choose from.- Food is actually pretty good from the tacos and burritos to sliders and burgers- Prices are reasonableCons- It is a bit run down. Definitely needs some TLC- Unfortunately, there was a weird smell inside that almost turned us away. We went outside instead.Overall, it’s not a bad place if you don’t judge a book by it’s cover. Cool employees that are kind and helpful, but the only and biggest flaw is the overall look of the place. Other than that, it’s worth the buck.
They need to fix the plumbing it smells disgusting inside the restaurant.
